In ep 14, yang hua couldn't fight the hooligan to save tao but in the ep 18 preview, he broke the damn glass when tao did something to qin shi. he's so tensed when it comes to qin shi, I have never seen him get angry like this in any earlier episodes or previews. he went totally out of his calm character for his woman 🥺
if he didn’t involve with fang guy for zhu yun,he would definitely go much more beyond that parents ideal things...if…
It's true, circumstances made li xun the way he is and the way he is seen now. I'm not talking about a rich or reputed guy as an ideal in the eyes of parents though, I'm just talking about stable ones. li xun seemed to be aware of this because of this he pushed zhu yun away :/

OMGGG!! How did I forget to mention this drama in my previous comment?!! "Zhang Gong Zhu Zai Shang" (2022) is a drama of 27 eps with 2 mins duration each. It's pretty good & a bit steamy for small production. I'll paste the synopsis here, the rest is up to you.
Zhang Gong Zhu Zai Shang Grand Princess Li Yun Zhen is rumored to live a decadent lifestyle with many bodyguards serving as her male concubines. She is uncharitable and merciless. She also holds the real political power in court. Emperor sends the handsome Gu Xuan Qing undercover in the Princess' manor to gather evidence of her corruption and topple her regime. But the more the royal guard learns of the real princess, the less she fits the rumor, and he starts to fall for the princess.

"Begin Again" (2020) cdrama. The FL is dominant and rich & chases the ML.
Have you ever tried the "Fake Princess" (2020) cdrama? in both the lead and the second lead couple, the female leads' are more dominant. It might not be what you're exactly looking for but it's an awesome drama nevertheless.
In "My Girl" (2020), both second leads' relationship was interesting and the female leads were dominant. The drama "All is Well" (2019) isn't fully based on romance but the female lead is a total badass
A few comments were talking about how controlling ZY's mom is and why ZY is still not revolting. I do agree that ZY's mom is disgustingly controlling over her adult daughter but I do get why she objects to ZY's relationship with LX. Li Xun cheated and was forced to drop out of school, went to jail, and didn't graduate because of that. I am not at all accusing Li Xun of not being an ideal match, I just know that if I ever have a daughter who's in love with someone like this, I would be concerned about her future. Not because of Li Xun's background or current situation but because of the fact that he doesn't include Zhu Yun in his plans until now, is unpredictable, and secretive in the eyes of people who don't know him quite well. Although I surely don't like her mom being overbearing, I can just see why a parent might not think Li Xun is ideal.
Whatsoever it might be, I think the only reason why Li Xun is Zhu Yun's ideal and perfect match is that she loves him and he does love her back too. It doesn't matter whether a guy is 10x times better than Li Xun, that person just can't be compared to Li Xun because Zhu Yun loves only Li Xun and will continue to do so.
This is just my general observation on MDL cast pages and I wanna know if it's true. The 1st actress or actor listed in the MDL cast list has comparatively more screen time (even if it's just a few mins more) or more followers. Like another comment mentioned that they wished Xu Kai had more screen time. Yang Mi is the first on the cast list and the story revolves around her character more than it does around Xu Kai's character (at the moment). On the Who Rules The World page, Yang Yang is listed first and the story did revolve more around him (his palace scenes & all that stuff).
When LX said that, he was basically describing ZY, she’s got an innocent and trusting heart with some spunk…
I do get where you are coming from but the way Li Xun said things in the novel was kinda off. Idk. I'm not commenting based on one incident. I read the Chinese version of part 2 and saw that there's more than one place where the dialogues were sexist in my dictionary. It doesn't mean i don't like the drama, I just wish few things were put different
I do like this drama but a few things don't sit well with me. Like Li Xun saying a girl needs to be innocent and fragile to be called a princess in the drama and the novel Li Xun wanting a boy child cuz men are easy to raise and women are delicate. I don't get the innocent, fragile, delicate concept. Women are not some thin piece of glass or princess pea. It just ruins my eagerness for the drama, what century is this again?!
I’m just starting this drama
