he didn't die to save LR or anything, im sure. he either killed himself or something else happened but he surely…
nah LR started dying and SRQ instigated LR to kill PWX. PWX died, LR heard the news and then died too. SRQ died after both of them so PWX didn't kill SRQ i guess
They do get there... hopefully the drama will show it too.. But they were never really the fall head over heels…
No, I love them bickering, being allies, partners, besties, and arguing but as of now, these don't have a strong base which they've cemented by confessing to each other. I want them to confess and pour out all their emotions that have built up for over 20 years. That rain scene was an intense one but it didn't end in a clear confession where they officially got together. I want a similar intense scene where they both are clear about their feelings and are so vulnerable. They can still bicker and be together after that. They can bicker for as long as they want, even when all of their hair turns grey lmao, I surely wouldn't mind.
I hate both the Su brothers rn. I don't even have to talk about SRQ bc yall know why we hate him. SRH pissed me off too when he was like 'dude go get the princess, this is your chance'. like bitch, where's your mind at huh?! ik he thinks LR and PWX's relationship is out of convenience but damn if being dumb and giving bad advice were a person, it would be him. It doesn't take that many brain cells to know that PWX and LR love each other. Even SGY figured it out. SRH has low EQ and SRQ has no IQ. What an amazing brother duo
Li Rong got an idea of the actual SRQ in these recent episodes. During the early eps when she got to know that SRQ killed her, she believed that he must've been forced to do that and pushed to the edge bc of his revenge. No, it's him. It's his true nature and now she's starting to see that.
SRQ can kill Li Rong and PWX can die for her. Li Rong, how hard can it be for you to make a choice now? In my eyes, Pei Wenxuan has been your only option all along and you were his.
I want to see them give up their pride and fall in their knees for each other. I love the bickering but for once, I want to see them vulnerable and safe in each other's arms.
Although I squeaked when PWX returned, I really wanted to hear Li Rong give a fitting answer to that audacious SRQ. Girl didn't believe for a second that PWX died and was on the edge waiting for him. That anxiousness, those letters, really moved me to tears. They both need to communicate their love for each other. She clearly loved PWX all along. I just wanted her to spell it out loud to SRQ.
But you know what, I want her to admit and confess her feelings to PWX first. Her confession to him should be their intimate moment. Let that SRQ piss off, man.
SRQ is a eunuch. LI chuan had hin castrated iso of killing after LR pleads for him life
I know that. There were comments saying that even if he was castrated in his previous life, they could've been kissing, making out, and all that. Both the novel and the drama didn't imply such stuff. That is why I have mentioned that he was her companion in her leisure time and a confidant, not a sexual or romantic partner
To those judging Li Rong harshly after reading snippets of the novel, please consider only what is shown in the drama and not the novel's story. Many dramas loosely follow the novel but leave out many parts, making the drama better or worse. So, the novel's story is not entirely equal to the drama's plot.
In "Unchained Love," the ML and FL had amazing chemistry, and it was well-directed. In the novel, there was a scene where the ML raped the FL, which was changed in the drama. When it was airing, if we looked at Dylan Wang's character as the novel's ML, we would've despised him, but we understood that the drama was different in a few aspects, although they pretty much followed the novel.
In "Story of Kunning Palace," there were scenes towards the end where Xie Wei and Ning'er had to pretend to be a couple in front of the rebels. In the novel, he forced Ning'er to give him orals. It was disgusting, but guess what? The drama was different.
Novels usually have some heavy topics or crazy scenes to pull readers in, but drama adaptations make it more appropriate for the screen. When you watch the episodes here, it was clear that Li Rong treated SRQ as a companion and not a sexual or romantic one. Despite whatever was in the novel, PWX didn't make it clear that he doesn't love QZZ in the drama, even though Li Rong was in tears, confronting him. She felt betrayed, and they became an estranged couple. She spent years believing that, and PWX only recently cleared his side of misunderstandings. Give that poor woman some time to process; even PWX understands that. She's not perfect, and he's not perfect either. Let them be messy, figure things out, and make it work. It's bittersweet and realistic.
