Compared with Serendipity, I like the "siblings turn lovers" plot in TRON more. Although they are fake siblings…
True, serendipity blurs that line a lot but in TRON, ML at least maintained his distance and was respectful. although I hate these siblings or dating trope, TRON handled it much better than Serendipity. They dated after she got out of his household and found her true family
Why are a lot of cdramas been freaking playing siblings or dating lately with such proxy incest tropes. by proxy I mean fake, it’s not actual incest but blurs that line. Almost 3/4ths of mini dramas have this trope where the FL is posing as the sister (cough cough not blood related to justify that), step mom, sister in law. etc. Wtf. Actually. It just ruins a good script.
Here, ML rejects her then later eps when they decide to fake her identity, he assures that he’ll be an elder brother to her. they act like siblings but blur the lines. FL gets to know that they’re not blood related, and is happy. When they say he’s going to marry some other girl, she comes to him to say shit “I won’t accept that girl as my sister in law… if you go ahead with this, I’ll sever our sibling ties.” Like girl stop. Tf. And then they play romantic music on top of this shit. Excuse me I’m gonna throw up.
In Rise of Ning, they both were siblings for so freaking long with FL not knowing that they aren’t blood related but somehow she develops feelings for they guy she considered her own third brother for a long time. I liked the plot but this was just Ew. It irks me.
Love Lu Yu Xiao but she has the body language of an antagonist. She would make a top tier psycho woman character. Sorry but her trying to be a good naive girl with silly banter looks unnatural, especially in historical dramas. Lu Yu Xiao in MJTY was amazing but I wondered if she ever loved truly bc till the end her eyes showed deception. Would love her as a villainess though, she needs to go for more dark or anti heroine lead characters

I really wish they kept MQG’s nonchalant cool and carefree aura in XRR instead of making her look like a naive golden retriever. I know XRR is very young but I bet younger MQG would’ve been a baddie too. Plus XRR hates red?!!! Nahh 😭😭
I love how the series is going strong now and the pacing is perfect but there better not be any kissing scenes between the actress paying Le Shan and Winwin. She is 17 and was probably 16 when they filmed while Winwin is 27. Even someone who’s 22 has too much of a gap with her, plus she’s a minor. Wang ying xue was barely 18 when he had kissing scenes with his 26 year old costar in one of his earlier dramas, my sensibility your destiny. That really disturbed me. As a teen, I’d barely consider having a real life crush on someone in their 20s let alone date.
I know it’s acting but their colleagues are way older than them, it’s not the same, i can’t seem justify it.
FL’s voice is cute and age appropriate. She speaks her age but is still smart and eloquent. She does whine but it’s so natural. She is cute and intelligent as opposed to the stereotypical cute and naive FLs. I don’t mind her quirks as long as she isn’t a complete airhead. She’s sweet and definitely grew on me
Lu Jiaxue’s wedding chamber set up with those dolls is too creepy. Like sir, do you want her to be your bride or virgin sacrifice? either way it’s terrible. I’m dead 💀
Chinese be like "pah. Funny how in costume dramas a woman spend years doing bad things to others but the moment…
It’s the image for them. They don’t care what vile stuff they do unless it’s all swept under the rugs. The moment the ugly truth comes out, their image of a proper lady gets destroyed and they go crazy.
This might be the last project of the FL doing kissing scenes since she’s married now.
I pray thats not true fr. She was dating the entire time they filmed the double and this one and yet we see an electrifying chemistry between her and her leads. She can clearly keep her professional and private life separate. I hope the chinese netizens don’t bash her for doing kissing scenes after getting married
💕If they love each other , there is nothing creepy and disturbing about adults sleeping together ☺️ My…
This! It’s so creepy to watch such things on screen. It would be so disturbing if there are any romantic scenes between them. I just want them to respect each other and leave it at that. It’s awkward enough
I was wheezing when he said don’t call me da ge when no one’s around and she started calling him Mu- Rong- Jinghe and that sounded so awkward to him too 😂😂 well I guess he only prefers being called her husband 😂

Bye. Can’t we have normal cdramas again?!

homegirl needs to stop calling him san ge now, calling him by his name would be so cute
Just poison someone, make them your assassin, and wait for the sparks to fly. Totally normal stuff 💀👍
