I would definitely say I am more intrigue by the second and third couple! Even if Shifu did not a “baixi” I think he will still die from the various injuries he gets :( There seem to be tons of assassins after him, n it’s been hinted time after time by the imperial doc that he can’t keep “working/fighting” and not resting etc. I think it is great that Yang Mi took the role of Hashi as without her, I wouldn’t be watching this and come to be fond of the actor/actress who are playing the 2nd and 3rd couple.

Too many comments on the actress credibility or whatever fan nonsense (keep it classy ladies and gents) and too little on discussion of plot and storyline. Is there a book based on this? I hope Hai Shi ends up with shifu 😜

Really enjoying the drama! YM is super watchable and love her relationship with her brother! Anyway, don’t get upset by negative comments. There are just opinions and why let it affect you? Brush it off 😜

Is this a recent phenomenon? Revenge of the exes? Not sure what is the story because it does seem brutal if he did force her but hey ho we will never know the true story! Because to be fair are there many exes around who are still best friends? I am sure almost everyone has some sob ex bf/gf story to tell

I can’t believe I waited so long to start this! Heart wrenching and the male lead’s acting was amazing! I could read his emotions just by his facial expression. He was definitely a grey multifaceted character and I love that! Because in reality, there are no black n white characters.

Definitely on my list. Too many dramas, movies, tv series. I want to read more books too! Ha!

Cheng Yu is her younger cousin- obviously not blood related as she took on the identity of her best friend. They had a pretend marriage as she need a “cover” in order to cure him and throw off the scent of the “wolves” who were plotting to kill him. She treats him like a younger sibling. The only person I think JiuLing loves is Zhu Zan the main ML. That’s from what I understand but people who have read the book might tell u a different story.

There are a lot of pot holes in the drama but I am not watching this for intellectual stimulation, it is purely for entertainment value. And it works for me 🤗
The actress is a revelation! I might watch GBMP after this!

I am glad I am not a celebrity or a fan! Too much work involved. Parents should step in here I wouldn’t want my child wasting hours following a fan or being a celebrity

Why did they have the accidental kiss at the beginning? Too cliche 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ But am still enjoying the show otherwise
