Sorry, I beg to differ. She is definitely prettier and more pleasing to the eyes than many other actresses I know. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Although now that I am typing this I would like to say all women are pretty and gorgeous! :)) let’s support each other!
Maybe I am older viewer but I am not creep out by the second male lead. In fact, he is very good looking himself too and has more of a manly aura than the male lead who looks babyish. (No offence to his fans) And honestly which second male or female lead isn’t annoying??
I love this, actually watching it for the second time! FL is absolutely gorgeous! The story is also quite different and it is relatable to the older viewers. I read that she was the ML’s ideal woman so I definitely see chemistry there! Her acting was on point and not over the top either for the angsty scenes.

Yes, totally agree with you. Am I the only one who is annoyed at how cold the ML is towards his concubines? Especially the way he was towards the concubine Qin who has no children of her own? I am not too fuss about ML having a few wives, it still happens in some countries (not that I will ever allow my husband to do that haha!) but I do feel sorry for the concubines. He can’t even stay and have dinner with them and yes, I do realise he is a busy and important man and he probably feels he has done his duty by providing for them with a roof and food etc ? But I am really enjoying the drama and I think I might actually finish watching this...
I am enjoying the drama, the story is quite interesting and I like the fight scenes too. I think people should focus on that rather than bromance or romance or whatever
