I watched it more and i realized i was watching it through the filter of 'Red-Green flag'. I was quick to judge, should have seen the broader original image. She *IS* a red flag but it is not about her being a red flag, it's about her ambition.
Ik nothing about what is going on is right but seeing her being a strategist on the other hand is kinda cool and satisfying. She is selfish but in a way that feels driven by her ambitions and goals rather than just being malicious.
I started getting it after ep. 7 and It's less boring now. It's not like she's the only with ill intentions, right ?! Idk why but something about the ML speaks "FAKE, FAKE, FAKE". I just can't explain it right now. How did he manage to do a background check on her and didn't find anything suspicious about her ?? He's smart and calculative afterall.
She's just trying to survive. I don't agree with her but i still like her. Honestly, i still don't know what I'm saying but i think this is the correct way to feel it !! I hope i can find the correct words to describe my feelings soon.

I suddenly have this feeling that some other actress would've done the role "Hong Heejoo" better than Chae Soobin. It's not a hate but i genuinely think that she tried too hard but just couldn't do it.

Anyways, I started it because of our greatly talented and pretty Jung Somin and ended up loving Jung Haein too. Looking at it I have seen JHI in a couple of dramas before in support roles and I widely remember myself suffering from "Second lead syndrome" because of him in *While you were sleeping*. He's a great actor, it's good to know he's taking main roles now. And Jung Somin without any doubt is a slayer in badass roles.
Immature yet mature, light yet deep, realistic yet unrealistic. So many hidden and open messages. Issues, expectations and concerns in Parents-Children relationship, Sibling relationship, Couple relationship, Friendships were raised and nicely done here in this drama. Everyone should watch it with their family and friends. So many things to learn and teach. It can end family wars, not exaggerating, seriously.
I loved this couple so much, it was so good seeing them being themselves even as a couple, just like how they always were since their childhood as friends. The second couple is really cute too. No green flag-red flag sh*t, everyone has flaws, just them forgiving and accepting each-other. This is life. Highly recommended.
The whole proposal scene had me snorting in the middle of the night .. I laughed even after turning off the screen for a very long time. I felt so sorry for him lmfaooo. Today I'm going to rewatch that scene to relive the feeling.
I love how this is literally the close reality of men. It explains very well that men will always be j€rk. It's laughable. They say "Women can't control their emotions and they overreact" when it's actually men lol. Both the love interest of Bae Seok-Ryu failed her.
Seok-Ryu was the one who needed mental support but Hyeon-jun was itching for something else and took her depression lightly which caused her to drift away meanwhile at the same time Seung-hyo ignored her for over 3 years when she reached out to him thousands of time, just because "jealousy" took over him. What was he to her at that time ?? "A LIFELONG CHILDHOOD FRIEND" !! He couldn't even talk to her as a friend. Seung-hyo also gave her a limited time period and said if she doesn't accept him as her bf he would stop being her friend. Wtf. Is that not forcing ? 🥀
Atleast they apologized for their action and they know that they're pathetic losers, but it still makes me sad. My heart hurts for BSR. What did she even do to deserve all this !? 😭

This is "my" first ever drama of ZRN and i can confirm that her acting skills are great. I can't think of any actress who can replace her for this role. She was just perfect for WYF.
I have not read the novel but i can say that her depiction of "EMOTIONAL DETACHMENT" was awesome in this. She neither overdid nor underdid it.
Omggg this is so cute and hella funny. 😂 Jung Mo-eum knew the tea lol. I can't believe she dug out the time capsule right away and read his secret and kept it a secret for over a decade. Choiseung's reaction when he found out was priceless. If that happened to me i will make a burrow and never come out of it.
