Yeah they've just started though. So not sure if they'll air it next. But I'm more excited to see Bad Buddy than Fish Upon the Sky. Baby Nanon in his first ever BL!
Did anyone else notice in part 3/4 (where Tian is lying in bed at 7:00) it read on the sign Bad Buddy? Maybe that's…
You weren't the only one XD a lot of fans noticed it but I don't think they would air Bad Buddy right after TOTS. Both are from the same director so maybe they're just promoting it.
Earth is stunning, could it be that he looks even better than before?!
I was thinking the same. But mostly I felt that Earth has lost more eight that before making his angles sharper. Especially his face looks thinner. I'm not complaining but he was already very fit. Still love him both ways. He seems to have improved a lot since his days in Waterboyy in terms of acting too.
Phupha and Tian passing each other in the hotel was such a kdrama moment but god I was loving it. My heart was in my throat! and god damn they looked so hot suited up.
I honestly don´t have any expectations for gmmtv bls anymore but please don´t mess this one up!! it actually…
The first 30 minutes is actually good so far. I love how different everything is to your typical BLs. I'm not saying it's super good (Can't say anything from just 1/4th of the first ep) but it's definitely in the range of the better ones.
Do you know why BKPP feels different compared to other couples? Most couples really only have their moments when…
Agreed. It's their real life connection that makes it even beautiful. And the way they met is similar to the story itself. They first met each other at a cram school and Billkin went and spoke with PP. Their chemistry hits you differently even when they're literally just sitting next to each other.
This is totally the best bl drama that was released in 2020 (along with Cherry Magic AND Like in the movies).…
Ha ha. I have a feeling a lot are going to be disappointed cuz they are going in with high expectation to the second season . I think there will be many differences because the crew has changed somewhat with a different director and script writer (the new director is still someone with some really good projects in the past). In terms of the chemistry I think the main reason is that Billkin and PP are two people who have known each other for a long time and that builds up their natural chemistry. The way they met is somewhat similar to the story too which I personally find cute. Check out the documentary. It makes you fall in love with them even more.
maybe i haven't watched enough thai bl so forgive me for what i'm about to say but.. this is the first thai bl…
Believe me, I have watched about 85-90% of the Thai and other Asian BLs out there and I still agree with your point. This one really stands out in terms of raw and realistic portrayal of teenage feelings and coming of age. In general it's a very common and simple story but the portrayal is what makes this powerful. They don't stick to the common tropes used in BL like jealous ex or fujoshis. This is a portrayal of real life and the cast and crew has put in 200% into it which literally shows in each and every step of the drama.
The first episode didn't impress me that much, should I keep going?
Have an open mind and go into the second episode too. This is the sort of drama that will hook you in with the slightest detail. Even the smallest thing has a high significance in the drama so unless you're into dramas like that, you might get bored too. It's a matter of personal opinion too but give it a chance. and see :)
Just finished the last episode. I know I'm late to the party. I wanted to watch this series for a while but a…
I think I've commented on one of your previous replies also. Like I told before the script was written for them especially. The characters were molded after the actors. If you take Teh's actor Billkin is known for being someone who easily tears up even in real life. There's a lot of backstory for this drama. How this drama came to being also.
As I mentioned before, for me the rawness that they portrayed was refreshing. They weren't trying to make the characters pleasing to the eye but portray them in a way we can relate to. This is just a personal opinion of mine. Everyone is allowed to have their own opinion XD I would highly recommend the documentaries to you. Then you can get a slight insight to the actors and the connections that the show, the cast and the crew have. I'm in no way criticizing your opinion, just giving you some inside info :)
He actually looks super cute in some scenes, but yea he looked weird in some other scenes too haha especially…
Lol this comment is funny. Like the reply before me, the script was literally written especially based on the actor's real life characteristics XD so it's funny to see the comment "why the hell they hired this guy". Also the crying scenes were really raw. For me personally I found it much more realistic than other crying scenes. The actors put in their heart and soul into the acting. They literally embraced those characters and brought them to life.
I agree so much with you. The ending is somewhat of an open ending too? But then it is realistic. Life doesn't…
Wow that's amazing! That you live that close. Ha ha. I'm glad to be of help XD This is pretty short with just 5 episodes but each episode is rather long being over and hour. Still you won't even feel the time passing. I kept an eye on it since they released the trailer because both of them caught my attention all the way back during My Ambulance when they were just supporting roles in it and the wait for the drama to air was just simply torture and then waiting each day. I can't believe I actually managed to get through that wait. The best part of it is how much though they've put to the drama. If you are the type to like that sort of drama where even the smallest detail carries heavy meaning, I'd say this is perfect for you. Give the first episode a try and see :)
Suparburoot Juthathep is one of my all time favorite period pieces of Thai dramas so seeing this article makes me really giddy. I loved how we got to see so many good actors and actresses in one frame and I loved the bond between the brothers. I got really excited when they said they are planning to do a second season but unfortunately it's about another generation of the Juthathep family. Still I'm low key excited for it.
PS : Hello fellow NCTzen ??
