Very excited about this because I have nostalgic memories of the original. Although it wasn't the best, at that time (and still) I loved the show. I remember rewatching it several times over the years and whenever I remember, I go back to watching it. One of my only wishes if this ever gets a remake is for us to see at least a cameo of our original cast.
One day I will learn not to pay any kind to ratings on MDL.Almost skipped this series because of the negative…
This is actually quite a nice show. I was surprised seeing the comments here cuz I genuinely like where the plot is going and I don’t see where all this unnecessary hate is coming from tbh 😔
I LOVE Earth and Mix with all of me, but this plot is just depressing. I hate body-swap BL's and it looks like…
According to the sypnosis given by few who read the original book, this is not a typical body swap where there is a confusion between the two characters. It's a delicate matter to be balanced but I feel like it'll be executed well.
What an amazing story, it's so sad that this is so underrated. It takes the typical older Japanese storylines yet there is something wholesome about the story that will leave you with a tear or two. I didn't regret a minute I watched this.
Maybe I won't watch the prequel since it ends in a tragic way and only watch this when it comes out 🤔
It does end in a ttagic way but according to the novel, the past events make sense in the contemporary story too. If not sometimes you will think the ML's actions make no sense too. As you must have seen it's a reincarnation story. So watching the Prequel will make you understand the main story better. Don't worry even if it is a tragic ending in the prequel they find their happiness in the modern times. Just think of it as a continuation :)
The forever and ever is d season 2 of one and only??
Kinda Spoilers ahead.
One and Only is the prequel actually.
This is the main story. In the novel the events of One and Only are like a flashback but for the drama they have made it into a prequel, which in my opinion is a great idea actually. The story is well fleshed out in that manner.
This always fascinates me. I see people lauding Priest from all angles and yet having watched all three of those…
Honestly I haven't finished all these three dramas and dropped them half way but as a reader I can say Priest's books are quite good. For me personally it's her world building. Yes, she uses cliché plots but the way she has written her books and the way she portrays those cliché moments are what makes them stand out. In a way you can say these books are aimed more towards those girls who like danmei novels but compared to other web-novels that a re constantly being published, Priest's books take a higher position. In relation to the adaptations, I'm on the minority of those who were disappointed in all three adaptations. For me her books were much more enjoyable and as many say as her stories are built around strong backgrounds, going into the productions with a low budget seriously affects the stories. Not to find fault in anything but I'm not a fan of any of the on-screen portrayal. The cast of Guardian was the closest to the novel characters to me but it had many constrictions due to the budget too.
I'm gonna kill whoever update this cast and if this turns out to be all false -.- They are making our hopes high and dashing them to the ground. It's not fun at all.
As much as I loved this show, I firmly believe they shouldn't have made that joke. As a Sri Lankan I have many friends of that community and as a person raised closely related to that community it I felt really offended by it. I'm sorry to burst anyone's bubble but we are no longer in a society we have to make fun of other cultures to bring laughter. As anyone could see I had nothing but positive comments for this show before. Rather than putting blame, I just really hope they would be more educated than this.
I don't think he lost feelings for Bas per say. This is my humble opinion though, maybe I'm trying to justify…
Exactly. You can see it from the second time they are apart as it rips both of them apart from inside. Even in the last scene where Oh-Aew just asks Teh to be by his side and nothing more. People can name it different things but I feel that was the intensity of their feelings for each other. The type that can make you or break you.
It's a movie??? I was so excited thinking it's a drama ??? But still here for our Nadao boys. Tor and Paris. They are gonna smash their roles for sure. Nycha along with them *chef's kiss*
why did oh lose feelings for bas so quickly, i didnt get that
I don't think he lost feelings for Bas per say. This is my humble opinion though, maybe I'm trying to justify his actions but I think the feelings Oh-Aew developed for Teh was bigger? Bas was like that puppy love for him in a certain way while Teh was the force that pulled him into this spiral. I could be wrong too but this is what I felt.
I always put I Told Sunset About You and Gaya sa Pelikula when it comes to realistic dramas. But then again some…
It was so raw and realistic. And the fact there was no filler moment and even the smallest thing such as a school workbook and a pencil had so much subtle meaning behind it is what exceptional. When you look at the hints that are dropping for the second season we can see that they've put that in to motion even before part 1 ended. Nadao has gone beyond anything and planned ITSAY so well.
I always put I Told Sunset About You and Gaya sa Pelikula when it comes to realistic dramas. But then again some people really don't like those saying they have more heavy plots. But if you're ok with realistic development of characters I would recommend these two.
This is a good thread to read up on it. I'm not trying to force my opinion btw XD
