So starting off I enjoyed the first ep more than I thought I would. I literally didn't know that I had been watching for 44 minutes util the ending song rolled up. So here's my outtake on the drama.
1. Well as much as I love Yang Zi I wouldn't say she's the best choice for Tong Nian. Mainly cuz she doesn't look the age. She's cute though it wasn't the same cuteness I had in mind for TN. (They did make a difference by telling she's a 2nd year grad student, not sure if the subs were correct) 2. Han Shang Yan's character is coming off the typical cold-braniac vibe I got from Jiang Chen in ALSB (Ironic I know, lol) 3. Despite all of that I feel like the two of them are actually doing some justice to the stroy. I wouldn't say they portraying the characters perfectly, but they've given it a twist that makes me warm up to them. 4. The plot is so far as per the novel which is a big plus for me. (After getting disappointed by Our Glamorous Time). 5. The OST so far is totally my style. We heard only two songs s far from Ep 1 but I like it. 6. Honestly Hu Yi Tian looks more like a high schooler here than in ALSB. I'm guessing it's the cap that does it. Also for the most part he just stares and doesn't speak here XD 7. How in the world did they find such a bunch of cute looking side characters? I'm talking about the KK team here. Well now I know we're in for a lot of eye candy. Led by Li Xian and supported by Hu Yi Tian with this bunch of cuties? *swoon* 8. Although I said the story is going per the book I'm seriously in doubt how they can hold the story the same for 44 episodes. From what I remember in the novel there isn't much plot in there for 44 freaking episodes. Maybe 30 episodes or such maximum? But still I can make sure even if the story goes downhill I will be watching this for my love of the novel and Li Xian. 9. They are using their own voices which is a huuuuuge plus in my books! 10. PS : Appledog looks older than I thought she would. Knowing where her story-line goes in the novel, I'm kinda disappointed that she looks old.

I don't care about anything else, I see Lawrence Liu in the cast, bookmarked for me. I love him!!!!!!!! He's one of those naturally hilarious actors out there and always outshines everyone else for me. I simply loved him in Lion Pride. Hardcore fan of him since then XD
Also I saw another character of Lion Pride here. Lol are they a couple again?

Oh my god. Thank you so much for this. I guess I'm not gonna watch this cuz I really wanted to see Takumi and Hamabe together and if they are just gonna be siblings it's too much for me lol. A petty reason I know. Why couldn't the directors just switch the actors around?
This will continue with after the conclusion of the first season right?? I do not want to stay another year or so to watch the second season. 4 episodes in and I’m hooked in the first season. Every single detail is over the top. And in a good way too
Wow. Just wow. The pacing, the acting, the freaking CINEMATOGRAPHY out of this world. I felt as if I was watching an action packed movie rather than an episode. I am thoroughly impressed by Jackson Yi's performance. He manages to hold his head high among the veterans and shine brightly. I hope they sub this faster. I am dying to see the next episode.
I’m so confused. Are minami and takumi not a couple here? I’ve read only one or two chapters of the book and as I remember they are step siblings or something right? I don’t mind spoilers. Can someone clarify it for me? :’(
Why are the ratings so low? I'm in the 8th episode and I love it. This is so realistic and you can actually see the leads falling for each other. It's pretty cute and FL is so cute and amazing and ML's smile <3
This has all those cliche parts and basically feels like a teenager wrote the script but damn the chemistry between Badz and Smile keeps me going. I came here for Lee cuz he's in my list of Thai actors but now I'm totally head over heels for Fon and Mond <3
Honestly I'm not feeling the Liz and Kyro couple at all. Mean while Badz and Smile better figure out how they feel about each other soon. The only con is that I have to wait a whole damn week for a new episode :(
