Even I came here cuz I saw in an Instagram post that this is similar to GMP which is one of my all time favorites.…
Same here. I just don't get the story that much here.
Oh y god I wanted to ask the same thing. It's been quite a time since GMP but I'm still having withdrawals. I still couldn't find a good drama that even came close to GMP. But I did try Le Coup De Foudre and loved it. I won't put it in the same category as GMP as they are completely different.
Ok i finished the first two and now hooked on it. Now I come here and see the tragedy tag. I know now I'll be going through the same phase I did with Goodbye My Princess :(
The only reason I have immediately decided to watch this drama, When I have seen that it’s similar recommendation…

I’m the only one that isn’t into it yet? I’m at ep. 5 and yes it’s good but nothing special...
Actually the high school part is a bit boring but afterwards it gets really fun and cute. You won't regret it :)
If you're really interested I would highly recommend the book. It's perfect and the fact that it is based on the real life of the author makes it even cuter to read :)
One of the most intriguing dramas I've watched. This drama definitely deserved better ratings and recognition. Although the last 10 episodes felt a bit draggy. It could have finished after Yeoning got crowned but they gave us a arc afterwards too. Which was in my personal opinion unnecessary. Still I loved the whole story . The only thing I've got to say is I felt like I've seen Jung Il Woo in such characters way too much that he didn't leave a huge impact on me.
Wow. What a movie! People who are here saying that there were better movies and that this isn't much for the best selling movie in Korea clearly do not know how it is to be proud of one's culture and history. If I was a Korean myself I can't believe how much proud I would have been if I'm already feeling so overwhelmed by being a non-Korean watching this.
Just amazing. This wasn't just a movie with a good cast, this was representation of one nation.
I'm rereading the book in prep for the drama and just reached that scene, and can confirm for you that you are…
When I meant melancholic what I actually wanted to say was that some scenes which were funny in the novel took a more serious tone here. Mostly I guess cuz they add the instrumental of the ending song at those places. Still I love love love the ending song so much.
Also about Guan Chao and Wu Yi surprisingly I'm shipping them hard. They would make a cute couple. Hope their love line is fulfilled.
Likewise, Janice Wu is just adorable. Even her Instagram is so quirky I love checking her updates XD I can't believe we are getting only 3 days a week. Why can't they show the whole week? At least 5 days??? What am I supposed to do for 4 days now???
Mind letting me know if it’s a happy ending or sad ending?? :3
I loved how the novel connected everything. Although the drama tries to take the same route I rather they took the route of like A Love so Beautiful. Even in that the novel started from the present and went back but the drama took a more linear fashion which was better. I feel like the directors had a near perfect novel and amazing casting but seemed to have missed that little thing to make the drama great.
This article is one of the best and most detailed article I've seen here. I want to take a little time to tell the author of this article "Very Well Done" Amazing article!!! It was visually creative, informative and got everything done in a simple manner. Once again great article!
Well as a hardcore fan of the book I'm quite satisfied that they are sticking the book for 98% of the story and the characters are pretty well casted but got a smaaaaaaaaaal grievance about this though. The whole feel of the drama. I hate the fact that they've mad it more melancholic than happy. This is supposed to be a feel good drama but I feel like I'm watching an incoming tragedy drama. The book itself was light hearted and easy to read and still I go back to it when I'm feeling down cuz the relationship between Mr. F and the author are adorable. I wish the editors and directors made it more light hearted. After all the actors have also shown that they are amazing comic actors in their previous work..

Oh yeah. I remember the horrible disaster of a confession scene of Mr. F XD Also I do not know maybe cuz of the trailer it looks more melancholic than the fun nature of the book. Then again casting Janice Wu as Joey is one of the best in the series. Not so sure of Mr. F though. Still I have never seen him acting but I know Janice Wu can do a perfect job as Joey, that is if they stay true to the book. Also in the book Guan Chao's romance isn't shown right? But here they have a love line going with him and the best friend? anyway I am so excited for tomorrow's start :)
