I so agree to your comment. CKH has lost his trust towards woman and Wei Wei was just sacrificing her life for…
I'm not sure of the novel name but as I've heard it's an open ending in the novel. I low-key hope they get together in the drama at least at the end XD
Am I the only totally loving this show? I loved the political aspect of the story. Yes there maybe some loopholes and a bit exaggerated but still the show is off to a great start for me. The first episode totally hooked me in. I’m totally waiting for this one. Like someone said maybe it’s not for everyone. The political aspect is there more than anything and it shows what actually happens behind the scenes of politics :)
I know it splitting hairs, and I'd still watch anyway because it's sucked me in, but I'm glad neither couple is…
I completely agree with your words. The GF is more annoying than the BF actually and I have a feeling she'll make it bad for WW in the future. From the trailer it looks like she's going to her workplace and screaming at WW? Also yes. Next episode looks interesting. Finally a kiss scene though it looks a bit forced :/
About to watch it and seeing by the ratings, I’m excited!! haven’t watched a thriller kdrama in a while :)
You won't regret it. This is one of the best comical mystery drama and the cast is spot on with their acting. Don't expect cheesy romance. This is pure gem of a comedy drama XD

Kehuan seems to be simply held down by a blind promise which he seems to think he's obliged to keep. Even the girlfriend though she seems nice from the outside, emotionally binds him with the promise all the time. I am surprised he hasn't lost it in front of her every time she brings that up. Shows he has some serious respect for her mother. The most healthiest thing for him is to break up. Well for both of them actually.
Also WeiWei's relationship already shows signs of spiraling down. She should leave him too :(
What I love the most is this shows the realistic weak side of people. I too was in a relationship where I couldn't get out cuz everyone around me was saying that he was THE ONE and that we were perfect but we had long lost our feelings. Finally after 4 years I managed to break it off which as I predicted resulted HUGE changes in my life. So the aspect of how people fall out of love hits me deeply. Not everything has a happily ever after.
And I agree I hope KH and WW can be together in a normal healthy adult life. Cuz whatever happens their personalities seem to go together.
Love playlist is the show that keeps on giving so excited for this like seriously i hope this show never ends
Agreed. One show that you can keep on watching and loving :) I guess mainly cuz the cast has stayed the same which attracts a lot of fans. Most web dramas change their actors with each season.
The characters are not your typical 1 dimensional people you see in the stories these days. I love how the director is slowly peeling off layers for us to see in them. There maybe a reason as to why they cheat after all. Also the girlfriend is far from sweet. You can get it from the 3rd episode. Her sister is much more level headed. She's (the girlfriend) just a spoilt princess spending days shopping and spending her boyfriend's money, the only thing holding them together is her mother's promise. (I honestly hate these type of women. Maybe I myself have to work for end to meet from my side. My parents are strung on the idea that children have to independent and have their own source of income regardless of gender which is the normal way of surviving in the world)
Also the guy is on a tight string waiting to burst any moment. You could see he's definitely stressed because of the pressure he has from the girlfriend. The girlfriend has basically made him kinda have a certain prejudice towards women in a sort (The camping scene with WeiWei showed it) which is a clear sign that their relationship isn't healthy.
Also for the boyfriend as one of the comments below said, he's very controlling of him and WeiWei. Despite WeiWei being an independent woman most of the choices when it comes to their relationship are taken by him, which again is not a good sign. It's as if her ideas are not taken into consideration at all. Personally for me that's a deal breaker and by the looks of it even WeiWei is slowly opening her eyes as to how wrong it look (with the help of Ke Huan). Also having a secret relationship fro 3 years???????? How even? Do they even go out for dates? Are they stuck in their apartments all the time? (His apartment cuz she can't bring him to hers)
Personally I feel like there are many factors that are already shown which will lead to the break up of the respective couples and this is just us seeing the tip of the iceberg. I am sure we'll see so many in the following episodes.
One can actually argue that couples go through these problems all the time and trying to work through them makes them a stronger couple in love but that would point out the main problem here. I think both the couples have slowly fallen out of love by now. It's just all four of them are not accepting that they are slowly drifting apart or that they already have drifted apart by now.
Anyhoooooo I am thoroughly enjoying the show cuz it's one of those morally challenging stories that gives us a look at the realistic aspect of a relationship from the other side. Jasper and Puff are doing an amazing job although Puff looks pissed more than half the time XD funny cuz that's how her character was is Pleasantly Surprised also which she acted alongside Jasper XD I'm dying to know how it ends as I heard it was an open ending in the book but I kinda half want them to get together at the end but then morally it wouldn't be so correct either but I don't mind them being together maybe after few years of separation.
I'm gonna die :( Every episode is exciting. I can't wait till it gets to the part that WeiWei gives in. The tension in the drama is so high. I hope they won't carry the WeiWei keeps calling KeHuan names for a long time cuz 3 episodes in I'm already sick of it XD lol. The first two eps were good but I feel the 3rd episode also was pretty much the same and plot is a bit stagnant. Hope it gets better with the next episode. Not that I am complaining. The story is still amazing.
IT's actually funny seeing so many comments on people already disliking it cuz Xing Fei isn't the lead. Give it a chance guys. Landy Li is actually an amazing actress. Don't hate on her just cuz you love Xing Fei. Lin Yi will be paired up with many actresses in the future. You can't keep hating every single one noh.
IT HAS BEEN 10 YEARS??? I feel old now XD This was such a stroll down memory lane and I took your advice and listened to the OST and it really did make a difference when reading the article :) I'm guessing I;ll be binge watching BOF again after ages.
Wonderful article that is non-biased which I loved :)

Sorry for the long ass comment.
As flawed and immoral as the story is I'm loving it so far. Puff and Jasper has amazing chemistry.
