Idk why but I have this feeling that Ik Sun- Jun Wan long distance won't work out :/
Me too....she keeps dropping someone eles's name in their conversations. Last week's episode that same person was the one who told her that she was a victim of racism. I may have missed what the sex of that person is.
I sometime struggle with people who hate this. I get that it might be not your cup of tea, but this is one of…
PREACH! There are so many other mindless dramas out there for the pessismists to watch. Why come here to spoil it for the rest of us? Hospital Playlist is and will always be a masterful drama not only for the exceptional writing but because of the actors that produce and deliver their character's roles week after week relatably.
Just few minutes into watching ep1, the FL's friends are such pos.Idk how she keeps them around (and actually…
I thought I was the only one LOL...I barely got through the first 20 minutes. I guess the point of the drama is that the FL engages in a riske relationship with a habitual player but what disturbs me the most is that the drama is billed as a romance genre. What is romantic about her allowing a guy she just met in a bar (after just breaking up with another mind you) manipulating you into doing things his way? The friends/co -workers are also in another level. So what is really going on here. Is she really that naive or just a product of low self esteem? And do we the viewers have to go down that toxic relationship train with her? There may be some issues with her home life. She seemed reluctant to go home to her mom's because "he is there." Not sure who he is.
CLOY was certainly a game changer for me and many new Kdrama fans.
Indeed...CLOY was my first K drama and left me so impressed I circled back 2 more times and brought others with me. Before that I was firmly attached to C historical dramas.
I totally loved the depictions above. I stopped watching western television 2 plus years ago when i discovered…
Everything you wrote is on point especially "If one cant hook me in the first 5 minutes it ain't happening " Except once I gave up too soon. The drama "Hospital Playlist." It was already a year after it was aired that I was convinced by a few netizens to give it another shot. I would have been so sad if I had missed out on that gem.
Thanks for the Post and the endorsement of A Piece of Your Mind...I thought at the time that it probably would not be for everyone as it was a complete departure from what we normally would see but from the comments here and on other MDL sites, it is definitely a high fan favorite.
I felt the same for Piece of your Mind. I ended up dropping it after the 6th episode. But, I've seen some recent…
Whaatt! When The Weather is Fine is also a masterpiece I thought. Loved every minute of it...well except for the ending when they redeemed the ex best friend from High School's character. Totally unnecessary and unrealistic. Did not need to happen but otherwise I forgave the writer and left it in my Top 5 of dramas that make md happy.

Yes you should...It is just one of those slow burns. When I first watched it last year, I could not figure out where it was going (anything sci-fi related is not usually my thing) but I stuck with it and was glad I did.
Be melodramatic is one ofmy favourite kdramas of all time too! But I think it's quite popular though >.
Be Melodramatic was not popular when it first aired but dveloped a cult following after. Now it is no longer considered underrated. The huge international fan base may have contributed to that. The irony is the drama itself is a satire on how the writer and director had to balance a great script with the expectations of what viewers want/high ratings.
I’m so glad that I read your comment, Arthdal Chronicles is a gem among stones, but I’m not surprised it didn’t…
Exactly.....and don't get me started with the constant barrage of Love Triangles. Like who has this many suitors vying for their attention at the same time??? I read somewhere recently though that within the romance genre, that trope scored the highest from the survey. YIKES! Got to give the people what they want I guess.
Move to Heaven is scoring a 9.2 here but with only 5,330 ratings, whereas a drama like True Beauty is getting…
This is when I realize more and more that my tolerance level for syrupy dramas are at an all time low. Had high expectations fo True Beauty but dropped it midway. Just could not for the lfe of me understand how the FL despite being aghast at her natural face left her home so often without her make-up on even after running into her numerous nemeses at any given time. My other grievance with that drama extended to the Love Triangle. Thought it completely unnecessary. There were more than enough situational occurrences between the FL and ML to keep the viewers entertained without that complication.
The friends/co -workers are also in another level. So what is really going on here. Is she really that naive or just a product of low self esteem? And do we the viewers have to go down that toxic relationship train with her?

Have you seen To Jenny? Now that is also a hidden gem.
