I knew I was going to love this after how much I loved Me and Thee. But I guess I forgot how much Me and Thee made me smile and giggle with Khun Thee's antics, because I was fully cackling like a loon. So silly. So sweet. Can't wait for more.
Maybe it's just me, but it looks like Little Jane has braces sometimes. Maybe it's just the natural shape of his mouth, I don't know. It just looks like he has something under his upper lip that seems like braces to me. His mouth reminds me of Seungmin from Stray Kids, so maybe that's why 🤷
There's been a lot of back and forth about it already, but I'mma throw my two cents in... The scene in the bed in episode 2 - I did not enjoy it. Not because I don't understand Omegaverse or what was happening, but because it didn't feel right to me. The angles of the shots, the fast cuts between the angles, and the physical movements all felt out of place. Then you have the lighting and the sound effects and it just had me squinting. The frenetic frantic frenzy of sniffing makes sense with the bond. The way that frenzy was shot was mush.
Also, what's up with the camera lens? There were a couple times it was like an elongated fishbowl lens and I don't understand why you would do that.
While the special wasn't full of plot or anything deep, I still think it was a fitting end for my sap of a heart. It was that little extra that made me smile and know they'll always be in each other's lives even if they're apart physically. It was cheesy and sweet and right up my hopeless romantic alley lol.
This was a good start, and I'm sat and annoyed I have to wait a week. I do wish the cinematography was a bit steadier - the weird upward angles and non-stabilized cameras was a bit off putting. And the subtitles on Iqiyi were definitely off - there were a couple times a line just didn't have a subtitle attached, or felt like a poor translation. I might watch on another platform to see if it's different.
if this was truly part of the same universe... why did they not at least give us all the couples in the finale…
They sort of did if you take the end of ArthitDao as the end of the series and GerNao as a spin off in the same universe. The original books were the 4 doctors and the 4 friends coming together. GerNao and JaydenDan (Dannuea's story) are set in the same universe, but not part of the original 4.
Can anyone tell me where it is mentioned that johan and arthit are exes? Like, i am so confused after watching…
Johan and Arthit were never dating. Johan was always in love with North. The only reason he was ever with anyone else was because he was trying to get over North (before North even knew Johan existed), and even then, he never kissed any of them. That was a big thing in the book. He only ever kissed North. Arthit and Johan are just those friends who are super close because they're so alike in so many ways. Arthit is just a big ol' mooch, though, and is constantly asking Johan for money. So it became a running joke that Johan was giving money to Arthit because Arthit was his "wife." 1. North accidentally overheard Tiger talking to Mick and Field about liking Nao. In the show it seemed more like North was creeping up behind Tiger, but in the book, Tiger was just not being careful to be quiet lol. North then uses the information to his advantage, because, well, it's North. 2. All the above info. 3. Tiger and Nao went to high school together. They started as competitors for the soccer team captain, and then became friends as they got to know each other. Tiger then basically lived at Nao's house most of the time because he despised his father so much. Tiger has loved Nao for 6 years, well before their college days. Ger followed Nao to that university because it was where Nao got in, but they end up in different majors. Both engineering, just different aspects. Nao is in the same department as North, and they have a lot of classes together, so they became friends. Which bleeds over to Ger because he never leaves Nao alone. On top of all that, Ger and Johan know each other from their high school days because they were both in the illegal racing circuit. Plus, Ger's family is mafia, and Johan's family is on the very edge of being mafia, but not fully mafia, so there's a lot of shared experience. Then when they end up at the same school, there's a lot of crossover with Johan and Ger dealing with mafia type things, including Phoon's dad. Which that not being included was the greatest tragedy of the entire series in my opinion. The books all make it make more sense, and the crossovers into each other's worlds blends a lot more than in the show. Which, while a bummer, is understandable because of time constraints and actual filmability. Hope that helps!
I was late to start this, and now I'm on epsidoe 9 and it's making me so upset lmao. Like, all the bad decisions happening at the same time, and then all the chaos that follows? It's a wild mess. But, no! Get Boston the eff out your house, Tua! Uuuughhhhh!
I stopped watching for a minute but I'm on episode 4 now. Damn, I want them to let these men grow up. The actors…
I'm late to start this series, but I couldn't agree more! I'm not opposed to school dramas, but dang, can't we have more adult roles? Can't adults play adults? Are school settings cheaper to make? Literally none of them look like they should be in college lol.
genuinely didn't get why Tiger had to move to Hong Kong for 2 yrs, why he needs to get stronger to protect Nao?…
It's more of his father forcing him to go because he acted on his own against a rival gang. He accepted it easily because, yes, he won, but was injured severely in the process. He went in more with adrenaline than plan. He knows that if he stays around Nao and his family, they could become targets because of him, so he wants to get stronger to be able to continue to protect them, but with less personal injury.
Regarding the girl, it becomes a point of contention between Ger and Nao every time Nao tries to date someone else, which eventually leads to Ger confessing during a fight. So she's more a set up for future than anything else. The book does explain it a bit better, but it's understandable it's a bit compressed in the show because of time constraints.
I have so many emotions and feelings about this show! The last 2 episodes were superior to all the rest, by far. I had some doubts in the first couple episodes because of how silly it felt, then I had some trouble with the plot feeling sluggish in the middle, but dayum, did it deliver in the end! JJ killed episode 11, and Net absolutely demolished episode 12. I am genuinely impressed by both, but Net's performance had me captivated.
When Nakhun told his mom he wished to be her son in every lifetime, my heart utterly wept for the beauty of that sentiment. Then, to compound that, Nakhun and Phop vow the same to each other, despite any fears they may not remember each other in their next life. The promise to love each other beyond a single lifetime is something everyone deserves and few truly find. I wish a PhopNakhun kind of love upon humanity. Maybe then we wouldn't be so broken as a species.
I totally forgot about this, so I'm just now watching. This has to be written by someone else than the show, right? Like, why is it so different? And corny/cheesy/cringey? Also, Teerak's friends running to spoil the surprise is peak bad friend behavior to me. Wtf. Why would you want to spoil that for your friend? I want to watch it, but it's causing me semi permanent stink face on right now...
I'm rewatching episode 11 because it was so good. I gotta say, Meng telling the story and having his head in an upside down broken stool is hysterical to me 😂

I love that Dan clocked all the info. Also, that he's willing to keep quiet about it all until Ger is ready. Love it.
