Revenge If I was him I would've done the same thing. Ice has a lot of defiance in him and I think he's back because…
I mean, that's true and I can see that perspective. But he also knows Saint is there and, despite still obviously having feelings, wants nothing to do with Saint. It's kind of that perfect storm of a place where nothing good has happened. Then, after his attempt on his life, (for me) it's a chance to start clean/fresh/new. It could have been a time to completely start over and put literally everything behind him - the betrayal by Saint ('s father), what Mint did, the debt his father left him, the death of his father, the loan sharks forcing him into the industry, the attempt to end his life, just everything. But I am definitely a people pleaser and avoid confrontation at all costs, so his constant kerfuffles with Mint - and then Fah showing up every damn time somehow - would be the absolute last thing I would want lol. For me, what doesn't kill me just gives me trauma 😅
I know we wouldn't have the story if he didn't, but I cannot fathom why Ice would want to ever set foot on those school grounds again after what Mint did to him. There are schools probably very far away from where one of the worst things to happen to anyone happened to Ice. *Why* would you return to that place?! There are a lot of things where belief should be suspended in this show, but that one piece is the only one that sticks in my craw and leaves a bad taste in my mouth...
So how is it that Sea is aware of the extent of the trauma Ice went through and she still agreed for Saint to…
To me, it looked like she didn't know who he was. She looked really happy after the audition, but her face totally changed after Ice recognized Saint. I got the feeling she was aware of Saint, but had never met him in person, so she didn't know it was *that* Saint auditioning. And if the investors are the ones pushing, she kind of has to capitulate or she won't get to make the movie at all.
I will keep all my fingers and toes crossed for that!! Maybe we'll get a couple episode arc in Our Skyy 3 🥹🙏(Because I'm keeping my fingies and toesies crossed for that to happen, too lol)
Please let us not normalize crying over and forgiving someone who attempted murder multiple times. How can they…
While I agree it's not "normal," I don't think it's completely out of the realm of possibility. Forgiveness is difficult. To me, it shows a depth of emotional and mental strength to be able to look at someone and say, "You've wronged me deeply, but I forgive you." I couldn't do it, no. Especially not as quickly as Thap. I highly doubt their relationship will be the same, but they both let go of the hatred and anger. To me it was more like they came to terms with what happened and agreed to move on. Karn is going to be in prison, so it's not like they're going back to being buddy buddy or anything.
I am enjoying this a lot, but I genuinely think the week wait between episodes is a major reason some people have issues with it. Once it has aired completely, this is a show to binge because it will make more sense overall. (That might also just be me projecting my dislike of waiting a week for new episodes, though 😅) Maybe I'm wrong and people actually hate it, but if we had the ability to watch all episodes back to back, the story would progress more smoothly, I think.
Also, I adore Ramil and Pong goofing together lol. Punn looked so happy and simulatiously so exasperated that they got on so well 😂
Ohmigosh, I did not catch until just now that the candies in the tin that Thap gave In for when he faints are little avocados for Jimmy and waves for Sea! It's a tiny detail, but I think it's brilliant lol.
*le sigh* It's just so well written. I knew Kasidis was a bad guy, but what the actual eff is up with Kan. He just constantly looks pissed that Thap is alive and out of reach. I know there have been spoilers about his ending, but his facial expressions are so obvious lol. I mean, go off, First. I hate waiting a whole week. And he didn't get to give him the gift and ask the question! 😭 Next week is going to piss me off with the ex inserting himself like that. No, sir. Thank you for your help, now leave. The Tower card and it's destruction is absolutely accurate 😢
Boun has said it's not a comedy. Just like a comedy cam have dramatic elements, a drama can still have comedic…
I haven't read the book, so I don't know the overall story. I'm going based on what Boun has said, the special, and the first episode. There are comedic elements, but I do not feel it was funny only. But, again, it's only episode 1. Everyone sees it differently, apparently. I think the best way to make a decision is to watch it yourself. I enjoyed it. Boun loves vampires and has spearheaded this project for a long time - I choose to trust his obsession lol.
Guys there are alot of comments of people saying this is a comedy? is it really? I don't want another comedy vampire…
Boun has said it's not a comedy. Just like a comedy cam have dramatic elements, a drama can still have comedic elements without being a comedy. I don't really understand where all the comments are coming from saying it's a comedy lol. There were a couple scenes that were funny/silly, but overall, not comedy.
What do you mean that awful couple will be here as well? STAY IN SEASON 1!
By that logic, we wouldn't be getting a season 2 at all. If the couples stayed in their respective seasons, we wouldn't know Tonfah, Typhoon, Arthit, or Daotok. Just as the main couples for season 2 are the side couples in season 1, the main couples in season 1 are the side couples in season 2. They interact with each other, and are crucial to story development in each other's stories.
Does anyone like Prem's performance? He only has one expression, he's up against Dunk for worst actor.
Honestly, I recommend watching the special they released last week. They explain a lot about each character, and Punn is a very closed person. Several cast members even said something like him having a secret. So far, to me, his performance follows the character quite well.
OK, I loved it. I know some people are still butthurt about it "not being dark" and "turned into a comedy," but, damn, can't we watch it in its entirety before throwing it in the bin? I take all Thai BL shows with a grain of salt, because I recognize it's made in a country who's culture is not the same as mine. Yes, they want international fans to be happy, but they're going to cater most to the people who live in the same country. And Boun has been spearheading this project for so long, I will gladly support and watch this with a goofy smile on my face knowing he's been able to complete his project.
for those who have read all the novels, do you think 8 episodes per story is enough? cause i just started reading…
I think for GerNao, it will be enough, but for FahPhoon and ThitDao, only maybe. It all depends on how closely they stick to the novels. Some things can be cut down for sure. Like the end of ThitDao's story is like 2 extra episodes worth lol, but I don't think it's necessary for the main story of the show to show that stuff. It would be a good special episode, though. For FahPhoon, I think certain things can be cut without hurting the story, but I don't want them to because FahPhoon are my favorites, so I'm biased (I just started rereading their book because I love it so much lol). For FahPhoon, I think if they pick up in the second year where season 1 ended and just have flashbacks of the where the book begins, 8 episodes should be fine 🤞
Don't want to see , female leads in BLs are always annoying & evil ( Except Last Twilight though )
I don't think his ex is a girl. The song that started playing in the car when they first were on their way to Mae Hong Son was, according to novel readers, his ex, and that's why he slammed on the brakes so hard. And everyone keeps saying In is exactly Thap's type, which makes it feel like everyone knows he's into men. I have not read the novel, so I can't say 100% for sure, but based on comments I've read, I believe his ex is a guy. But I do agree, the trope of women being the one to come between the leads who are both male is overdone and hella frustrating.
"I found my home is you."
"You are my magic prophecy."
Uuuugh such good lines this episode ❤️😭
Also, I adore Ramil and Pong goofing together lol. Punn looked so happy and simulatiously so exasperated that they got on so well 😂
