May be because you only read some negative comments .This is the show with both mature ML and FL with least angst…
I completely agree. I watched the whole thing and felt frustrated with the FL's inability to communicate for almost 2/3 of the series (the entire middle). Yes, she EVENTUALLY grew and healed, so that she stopped unintentionally jerking the ML's emotions around... But there was DEFINITELY angst up to that point. Its all fine and good that she needed time to heal before dating again, but she could have at least made efforts to gain clarity and not assume or confuse the ML. Thankfully he was an extremely compassionate, patient, and understanding person. Since the ending was a good 'happily ever after', I guess the saying applies, "All is well that ends well." (But... it doesn't change the fact that the entire middle was angsty! π)
She kissed a billionaire in bed does anyone know where to watch? whats the real title?
The drama above β¬οΈ, "Love is the Only Eternity", could be it because it starts with that scene. Maybe it wasn't listed yet when your comment posted.
Hey, JOME, we are talking about you in the above β¬οΈ thread. π
I love the witty rhyming! I'm seeing some writing potential in your little comments π ...
Ahh, but yes... the crazy vertical-drama boat. I might be on YOUR boat for now, since I'm still learning the ropes (wow, first time I've EVER used that idiom in context). I never thought I would enjoy vertical dramas when I gave them a try this last summer 2024. I was already addicted to horizontal-screen, 40 min-per-episode, 8-16-20-24-36-48+ episodes, full length C-dramas (and K). After attempting two LOW QUALITY, very cringey vertical short dramas on my iQIYI app (one that ended up costing me $17 in coins to finish), I considered the WHOLE vertical drama genre a complete ABOMINATION of China's cinematography industry. I scoffed to myself and shunned it. Then, on a wintery day... one of Zeng Hui's dramas assaulted my eyes when I accidentally hovered too long in YouYube, and suddenly I was pulled into the undercurrent π. Well now, I'm NEVER leaving this ocean! Its way too magical β¨οΈ.
Anyway, I agree on the teamwork. I always feel thankful for what the other MDL users contribute! ππ»
YOU TOTALLY NAILED it with the description of MLΒ΄s character!!!Ah, he was so larger than life!!Amazing review!!
Aww!! Thank you! This was the first one I watched of these mobster versions. Yesterday, I watched 2 others, but I think this one might be my favorite ...so far. I like the ML's overall vibe and his patience and trust of the FL. π
Hey, JOME, we are talking about you in the above β¬οΈ thread. π
Alrighty! βΊοΈ This is wonderful. And thanks for ALL your hard work!! I would have been redundant had JWells not hinted that you probably already did it. We'll patiently wait for (and appreciate) your shΔ«fΓΉ's approval / result! π

I guess Chang Gao Ming needs an MDL page, huh? Finding his dramas in an organized way has been a real pain in the arse. I first saw him last week here in this 80's drama and then again today in, "The Relentless Pursuit" / "Kingpin's Baby", but only because of the comments on Liu Lanbo's drama, "No One but You". After we upgrade to a paid subscription, is THAT how we gain access to request an actor be added?
Boring in my opinion. These slow burn style works better in a regular drama with other characters to do the heavy…
Aaahh... That's it. Your descriptive comment helps me better understand one of the key differences between miniseries and regular series. I couldn't quite put my finger on why, but now I'm realizing short dramas by nature don't always have enough time / substance to carry a slow burn romance (unless the production / script is exceptionally creative). Thank you!

Thank you both for having this conversation here so I don't watch it. I DO hate feeling depressed π.
Any news when this might come back . There are other versions on yt but u want to watch Charon one .
Thank you for sharing this! I immediately watched the whole thing using your link, which opened up in my DailyMotion app. Then, right afterward, the video was deleted and I can't find it anywhere on there. Crazy how fast that came and went within a few hours. π¬
