They both have the same subs. Thank goodness I have basic knowledge on Chinese I understood all if not I would’ve given up and put it on hold unsure if I will watch it again or not. When they say FL full name Xie Qiao they sub “Thanks, Qiao/Thank you Qiao/ Thank you Joe” and etc. They even write some names as Korean ones in Hangul🤡.

Yes barely any skin ship I don’t think they even held hands(except once or twice but those were understandable).. there was this once scene that triggered me tho… but this actress is so good she did such an excellent job some to the actor to the point I forget their age diff mostly if the time and just get engrossed except that once scene scene that trigger me. I’ve watch all his ML dramas and he’s so underrated.

Zhang Kai Tai is too underrated😭 I found out he’s from the same company as Lusi on this Chinese New Year if only he was in the same drama is Lusi or even better her on-screen CP he’ll get the acknowledgment he deserves😫

there is but there’s no kids or hugging scene the main focus of the story is teenage kids from their age of late 15-16,17,18 and the story took place in the late 19s. The story is very grounded and it’s a promotional drama of their pre-revolution I guess. Besides the FL actress is only 15 while ML is 25 or more if u look other than Xie Qiao from the main cast all are 20+

Exactly! They or the old man at least was not guilty at all he was just cowering to power. If he was really guilty he wouldn’t ask for a lighter punishment💩 I actually like how Ming Ye gave out their punishment and that he only let TH not receive a punishment that would kill her immediately (letting her rot away slowly into an old woman and witness SJ and MY be tgt happily , that would be a bigger hit for her. Then just simply dying after a few physical punishment. irl if u get too much pain at once u just go numb. I have first hand experience since I’m an Asian raised in the old Asian way and as someone who have broken a bone and dislocated my joints too often when I was young)which was actually a trade beneficial for SJ instead. But he didn’t communicate enough w SJ and didn’t control his subordinates well enough.

Thank goodness for me I’ve learnt to cope with it and I also watched their first and long trailer w the drama scenes again and again and after watching 10 eps of the drama i’ve got the rough analysis so how things turn out so I don’t damage my health by being over emotional. Except when it came to Tian Huan and the part where Bing Chang was being nosy and also got into the dream I knew she was going to be nothing but trouble bc I also watched the actress’s interview 👺

I was alrdy suffering since the first airing date waiting the next 24 hrs for 2 eps but now we’ll get 1 only and there will be days (basically HALF a week)withouts even 1 new ep ☠️☠️☠️

I don’t think Ming Ye will bc he promised her would let her go, He didn’t say he would protect her nor did he say he is promising in Sang Jiu’s stead too. He only let her go bc her tribe elders proposed an ideal trade for him, he was the one who sentenced her in the first place after all. He couldn’t bring back his friends bc they r gods but SJ can bring back her tribesmen. They talked abt it in ep 15 or 16 . That was probably why. Sang Jiu is scared to talk with him and Ming Ye is not good at talking💩

I’m alrdy resenting those that recorded in history that the witch refined the Evil eye or smthg using the lives of fairies/immortals without actually staring the facts straight making it seem like Sang Jiu is the bad one when as we can see in ep 17 she was only exactingly her revenge on those who did it she didn’t hurt the Medicine king/god? Or the other unrelated generals she only took the Devine essence of the serpent tribe.
