Nothing to complain abt the acting at all, everyone did a splendid job. Just horrible editing, CGI failing here and there unnoticeably and some production errors of small details. Which I think shouldn’t have happened of a big project like this. The editing errors got more noticeable near the end especially on ep 39 which triggered me a lot; Tantai Jin’s hand switch from right to left hand suddenly. What I love most abt this drama is BaiLu and Lou Yunxi’s portrayal. I even want to rate this 8 or 8.5 if not for their excellent portrayals and their heart wrenching story. There were many plot holes bc they had to delete or cut off many scenes💔. Li Susu as YXW changed into new, clean, luxurious and several layer outfits so easily without anyone’s help when she was traveling around alone on foot 🦶while being branded as a fugitive….. but later after many eps we saw that Chongyu can help her change but that was after she is back as Li Susi with her divine abilities but her as YXW did not have any….. Ending was also so very ughhhh🤯😫😭😮‍💨🫥🫠🥲(I don’t even kno what type of ending this is like we don’t kno what happens to Ye Qingyu, Mo Nv, Jiwu, Yue Ya(she wasn’t even there to join the fight wat da hell?!) and etc). I’m pretty sure that’s bc they had to cut off many scenes(China need to double check and make changes to their policy that’s so not beneficial for anyone)😭😭😭 so even tho the story itself and actors are all good the final result(drama) was a failure for me bc it’s not up to the standard of what the actors and the story could give. And the CGI failed here and there…they could’ve done better some of u guys should stop overrating the CGI and the drama. Yes it could’ve been as good as u guys r claiming but it’s not😭😭 LBFAD’s CGI, costumes and makeup were done better bc they didn’t have mistakes like uneven eye makeup and unflattering hairstyles. Eg the two string of fake long hair hanging out from his lower temple and Godess Li Susu’s eye makeup😭💔💔😭😭
They could’ve just aired the part two after 3 months min or yrs after fans would still watch and their drama wouldn’t be such a disappointment….. The C-biz would do much better if the productions and other entertainment staffs changed their ways and attitudes towards their work.

It’s perfect and one of the rare realistic dramas I’ve watched people who dislike this are all with personal preferences but if it to be evaluated fairy this is a work close to perfection. All cast were not lacking in their acting bravo💯💯💯 Although I first watch this because it’s Lusi’s new drama I genuinely love this drama there are also things to learn and reflect on w oneself. Lusi portrayed her character perfectly too I didn’t stan and love the wrong actress😩🤧❣️❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥
Also my rating for Music is very personal the song and BGM are all good but I need and OST sang by Lusi. i didn’t like the ost used for the whole season until I listened to Lusi cover that music w guzheng

Had a lot of potential w good cast

But poorly executed in many ways possible and ending is basically a sucker no matter how Netflix tries to sugar coat it saying it’s up to the viewer’s imagination, it’s quite flabbergasting. My mother who’s a die hard fan of action movies couldn’t watch it for long bc of its bad filmography, she left after a few mins bc watching it made her dizzy🤣 and she watches Jackie chan, Jet Li, Bruce Lee, James Bond, Shah Rukh Khan and etc nonstop.

Shit. This is the best Srsly

The story is not just funny and stimulating in a good way it’s also so heart warming(imo)and insightful/inspirational. The storyline, the characters and the small details are top tier. Except in some parts of the back and front view combined scenes they don’t really match up but that’s negligible…The humor up to the smallest details; minster even had to carry her own chair to evacuate for the chopper near the end of ep 8🤣. Srsly this story showed how many good possibilities and aspects in life. People are not always just good or bad. For eg Dr Han Yurim at first was a doctor who only cared abt himself; promotions, money and etc but he was able to drop all that for his daughter and he changed for the better. Also Dr Beak’s adventure would’ve have been as smooth or would not have started if not for Minister Myeong. Also Director Choi JoEun, that’s another insight for ppl. In the day and age of war happening here and there or over the world be it civil or etc. The world can only be better if people all start to think in others shoes not just abt themselves, the materialistic pros & cons; be more considerate and compassionate. Although it would be hard at first the world will definitely become a much better place ppl wouldn’t have to struggle like this anymore. Netflix is serving with all their Korean medical dramas👏🫶🏼

Tells a good story. Some say it’s a healing story I’d say it’s a story to reflect on.

Quote “Everyone is basically the same” I’m learning it is quite true to an extent as I become an adult each day… And 1 person may be a hero/good for one and the villain/bad for another.
First half was similar to our beloved summer(both acting was very distinct didn’t clash at all). I enjoyed it. Then latter half made me brawl my heart out. I’ve watched many shows and this is one of the handful that made me cry so hard. Like I wailed and everything. Honestly didn’t really enjoy the second couple…I don’t usually talk abt chemistry between actors bc I honestly don’t kno wth that is. But I think I the 2nd couple here did not really have chemistry, just couldn’t watch them… not that their story line sucked, it was quite the romance but based and realistic. Can’t really blamed both sides… Our FL served as always and ML also did not disappoint. It’s a melo movie just like Our beloved Summer. But he played both characters so well and distinctly. His portrayal for both characters did not overlap at all. Impressive. Their OST My Star has been stuck with me for the whole day rn, it’s resonating in my chest😮‍💨 that song really brought more life to the drama too. Ok im gonna sleep to it for ever starting tn❣️ Enjoy the ride everyone💕

This movie is not recommended for sensitive/emotional, lonely,

I cried at the end.…………..Because of the acting. The story was rushed but it was ok until it got closer to the ending… Although it was rushed I guess it’s to be expected since the it’s a movie( Personally it’s still short for one they should’ve made a drama ver cuz it felt like it IS the summary of a very touching drama ) It’s been so long since a movie made me feel so many emotions at once and this one definitely did and I was smiling the whole movie. The Jiang duo’s actor are one of my personal favs. Many will hate this movie for the ending they delivered but that’s life :-/. I would’ve cried even more if it was me before Covid. I gaped first since the first thing i thought was this is ridiculous! then didn’t kno whether to cover my eyes or mouth cuz I couldn’t look at Jaing Hai anymore nearing the end:-(((. the movie would’ve been much much better if it wasn’t rushed. It’s not a movie we’d like to watch but a story we’d like to kno.

Never did it ever cross my mind that I would cry for Cheon SeoJin and EunByu

The story has S1 was fine then S2 got meh and FINALLY S3 made me uhh… I watched the first two seasons while they were airing then I got to S3 I just skip skip and skip since I’m not into melodramatic troupe. But I binged watch it these two days, the story wasn’t bad but there were many loopholes…and the ending could’ve been better or they should’ve at least shown a bit more interactions the drama too 3seasons but the ending was so rushed just a few mins if the last ep. They didn’t even let Rona mourn for Dr.Ha actually no one really mourned for Logan, Soo ryeon or Dr.Ha. They didn’t even show Seo Jin’s secretary’s story a little but like Secretary Cho’s that I can’t even remember his name. I can only recall his scenes where he helps Eunbyul , gets slapped and give the real Dan Tae fake bones…They also didn’t show what happened to him at the end, makes me feel he deserve much better…..but one good thing tho I’ll be able watch SeokKyung, Eunbyul and Minhyuk actors’s future works peacefully now to see that they’ve grown and mature. There were probably many loophole because either the author was rushed or she was out of ideas or both🤷🏻‍♀️
