I have two questions Is the female lead good? I haven't seen any of her dramas. And second, is the novel translated?
For me I can't look at her in the eyes be I think sideways or maybe it's just my OCD her acting is just ok or below(I think there r actresses out there who could do better even rookies) her acting is too stiff makes me think that she’s where she is now bc of connections. She’s alrdy 30 started since 2015 at least, she can be counted as a veteran and Tiffany Tang discovered her what? Tiffany is such a great actress what did she see in her? She has so much to work on/improve. I've watched 3 of her dramas, Ashes of Love (I just watched it cuz I was finding for Asian dramas to watch on Netflix after findings many good kdramas and rewatching I Hear You. I eventually fell for Yang Zi and the cp is a great match so I even rewatched but alrdy skipped her parts), And The Winner is Love (bc I was suffering from SML syndrome and withdrawal of AOL) and Memory of Encaustic Tile (The genre and story is what I really go for so I watch whenever I find dramas like this bc there aren’t much of them, post 90s?). And in the dramas she can barely act her character age no matter young or old. I can’t see the innocence of youth or matureness of a character in her esp her eyes….

Sang Zhi is a smart and confident girl. She’s not a model student tho she got into trouble at sch because she talked back to the tr. Sang Zhi is sour going in her own way but doesn’t like socializing so basically can be assumed she’s also an introvert, ML is too. According to my knowledge from the manhua I dropped it at first becuz of the starting age generation( FL 13 and 20/21) I couldn’t keep reading but when I heard Lusi was gonna be FL of this story based drama I went back straight and enjoyed it too much🤭 I shared manhua link in discussion if u want to read.

I watched that drama when I hear u and oh my emperor probably I was surprised to see her in there and a villain?! But srsly I couldn’t hate her she the only character I cried for in the drama I kept watching for her but after she died I just skip skip skip and finished the drama so fast a blink of an eye. The setting is in Thailand but the production and cast are all Taiwanese that’s why it’s a Taiwanese movie. Also the movie is relatively dark and shows life of hardship w ppl struggling to live well everyday and so on so ofc there will be lots of smoking what do u expect? I also watched The turning w family very good thriller, eyes automatically close when ghost come out/ or I just kno it’s abt to. Also K movie Sweet and Sour I just rewatched for the third time.
