Ppl here hating on the mother so much, I assume r not Asian or did not grow up in a typical Asian household. Yes the mother isn’t likable but at least she’s a mom who deeply cares and put in effort bc there r also moms out there who thinks giving birth and paying for our basic needs is alrdy very magnanimous on their part and the rest is on the kids and that they should know better and be devoutly grateful to them and treat each of their kids differently/unfairly, basically a toxic mindset but regardless we still love each other and I am w but also abit disappointed . Although she may be lacking she’s not horrible giving her own experience growing up. No one’s perfect. This whole drama is a life lesson not one to target a character and berate them. She maybe a bad person for some but she could be a mother some ppl wish they had.

Her billing as in she’s expensive and not just any production can cast her .

Underrated and it’s actually well done. Though I felt a bit rushed for me since I was intrigued by all of their characters like Fu Jiu Yun for eg I wanted to know more abt him and many more characters, I wouldn’t mind if the drama was longer despite finding even 24 eps to me long this yr😓 that’s how I much I enjoyed the drama. Love Tiffany Tang🫶🏼 wish some of her hairstyles were done better they were too square at times…
