i made an effort to focus and I realized that the transitions are part of the problem. Between scenes they’re zooming in and out and approaching the same scene from 10 different angles in a short period of time. its so distracting and making me lose more focus. The story and scenes are jumping all over the place… i’m literally asking “wtf is happening?!” “where did he/she/they come from/ where did he go?!” every few minutes
i wanted to watch this for Li Yunrui but I don’t know if this is it for me 😭

i haven’t watched princess agents and i feel so lost watching this. the first three episodes so far feels like they’re just blazing through content / recap / the story … so much is happening all at once and we’re getting snippets of the scenes. i can’t tell if i just can’t focus and missed important context in the drama either

I found out this is a sequel to another drama (Princess Agents; 2017 release date)

do we need to watch that to understand this drama’s storyline?

on my third rewatch already. theres no good dramas out right now that’s making me feel the same way i do when i watch Pursuit of Jade (and especially, Zhang Linghe)

this drama is so cinematic & ALL the actor and actresses are so beautiful; including the VILLIANS

all the female roles in this drama are terrible

i’ve been wanting to drop this. im on ep 17 and i think i’m at my breaking point
it was an interesting plot until it became a dumpster fire. the FL being annoying and frustrating AF just isn’t it. i saw comments about the ending. doesn’t seem like there’s a point to continue this drama anymore

the beginning of the drama has zombie like characters thats more scary in my opinion. but probably more so because i didnt expect it

I am so confused about the plot. it’s way too abstract for my taste
it has The Hunger Games & Game of Thrones mixed into it
like why TF is there a dragon?? was it explained or did i miss it?! (i’m on ep 33)

i am only still here for the eyecandy & spiciness at this point LOL definitely one of the top 10 best kiss scenes in cdrama history (quality & quantity)
