Looks like all the former child actresses are growing up and winning Top Excellence awards for their Sageuks this year. MBC: Lee SeYoung, SBS: Kim YooJung, KBS: Kim SoHyun & Park EunBin. 😆 Going to be a good run for the next Baeksang but go Team Red Sleeve! Red Sleeve was the only one that took it for both Top Excellence Actor and Actress. Yay Junho!

Yeah…guess that’s a long time fan trying to get new fans to understand? Either way, fans are made from their work/art and not their personal lives. Also, seeing some of Seyoung’s past videos, she would hate this kind of stuff. She’s been bullied before at school and online I think for being a child actor, which is why she didn’t have many close friends growing up.

I’m not sure how it is being promoted in Korea aside from the MBC Drama Twitter page which is full of Red Sleeve. Everything I’ve seen is from the few interviews of the actors and some IG posts right before it’s due to air. It’s only recent that I’ve been able to start watching Kdramas as it’s airing. Do they promote on the channels with talk shows?

I will say that it doesn’t help with people making things up/putting mistranslations with the BTS on YouTube. It’s really annoying.

I didn’t think there was going to be much shipping IRL with Red Sleeve because they don’t have any promotions/events together except for a few interviews and the radio show. I guess I was wrong.

Oh yeah I heard BL dramas are another level of delusional shippers. I think it got so bad for Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan that they can’t even be at the same event vicinity or some news will come out.

And sadly it becomes a never ending cycle of each side protecting the other with Seyoung and Junho caught in the middle. I feel so bad for them especially Junho. It was a high from the night before with the awards where he was in running for daesang to this low 😭😭

It’s just as bad in Thailand and China. Fan wars got so bad in China, Weibo and others had started shutting down accounts. The government just started cracking down and holding these social media sites, media corporations and celebrities responsible. In the end, the ones hurt are the celebrities since it’s out of their control. In Thailand, these KooJin pairs are stuck in their pairings because fans can’t handle seeing them pair up with other leads. Their other co-stars get personally attacked and sometimes these shippers will turn on their own celebrities.

Delusional fans that scrutinize every little thing on celebrities personal accounts and think everything is a sign.

Exactly. These toxic fans will now get the complete opposite of what they wanted before. Less chance of CF, photoshoot, reunion drama/movie. Not much public anything.
