Lol…I could never understand that in the modern dramas. What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim was a RomCom but it had a steamy bed scene that wasn’t raunchy. But I guess the expectations are different for the daily dramas?

For SanDoek, I can see a kiss scene with the same sensuality as the ginger scene and the pulling of the top ribbon before panning out to like a screen.

He visited but they didn’t consummate because the date Doek-Im was supposed to deliver was to be their “first” night. That part in the BTS confused me too.

The synopsis for Veil reminded me too much of Homeland so aside from the trailers, I haven’t had the urge to see it yet. I thought it was funny that he called Junho and asked him how to gain mass while Junho was trying to slim down to get a chiseled look.

Lol…just looked at his profile. He’s got Dr Prisoner2 with KBS this coming year so it’s possible 😂. The first time I saw him was his cameo in Doctors. He made me cry. Then I realized he was the bad guy in the Girl Who Sees Smells. He’s an awesome actor so I can see what you were saying about getting it for bringing the ratings back for MBC with the Veil when the channel was in a downward spiral.

For which project?

I haven’t watched the Veil fully either but I know he’s a good actor with range. He’s got the experience over both of them. But yeah, I also thought it wasn’t fair Seyoung wasn’t called out as a contender. Her character was not as dynamic as Yi-San, but it’s harder to convey everything the way she did with Doek-Im. She did it beautifully and you can see her range with the character development. Her and Junho were equals in playing their roles. They are Doek-Im and Yi-San. I couldn’t imagine a more perfect role for Junho to display his abilities.

But Seyoung very low key outside of the job so I don’t know if that has anything to do with it.

That’s what I’m thinking. It’s supposed to be like the Korean Oscars and the daesang there is only awarded in the film and television category. An individual winner of the daesang can’t win anything else in the film or television category but on the wiki page, it’s hard for individual wins. I’m not sure if it’s like that for all daesang but as soon as they announced Junho for the Top Excellence Award, I kinda figured daesang was going to Namgoong Min. Both of them were excellent and either one would have deserved it. Seyoung was nominated twice for Best New Actress at Baeksang, once as a child (2005) for a film and once as an adult (2017) for a drama. She won the one in 2017.

If the last 2 episodes are as emotionally charged as we think it will be, I think Junho, Seyoung and TRS will have a good shot at it.

It’s usually 2nd quarter of each year so everything in 2021 should be up for the award in 2nd quarter of 2022.

I think they have like a 2 part judging for best couple. Audience voting and the judges combined. It’s hard but it should still come down to one couple. The Maya awards in Thailand has nominees from all the different stations, around 10-15 or something like that and still only one couple wins each award season. But whatever works. The big one is Baeksang. Hopefully they get some nominations and wins there because that’s competing against all dramas not just one channel.

Yeap🤣😂 She was too excited about the win. And it was nice that they were the only couple because I always usually see multiple sets of couples win that awards shared.

There was actually a video where Seyoung and Junho were standing one behind the other before being announced individually on the red carpet. Guess that’s how it works there. I know they pair ML/FL up as announcers at the award shows though cause they were paired up at Baeksang as part of promoting TRS.

Yeah…but I don’t know if that’s a thing there. They don’t promote the CP thing there as much as they do in China or Thailand. Rumors get started too quickly.
