After seeing a lot of people yapping here and there, I can't help but feel concerned for Esther Yu. This very new crew needs to be taught a lesson, if I must say. Why go to such extreme lengths to mistreat her? In the real life, everyone won't be happy if he/she is mistreated in a society and must be treated equally. Same goes for Esther Yu too. She only keeps silent so that no one will cause an uproar because of this case. All she can do is to endure everything until the show wraps up. I hope she'll alright until then.
Did she have any problems with the production? Is it serious?
I'm afraid that there's going to be a major deviation of the OG source. I dislike it when they try to divert from the original storyline, but as long as the changes don't affect the overall series, it's still fine. However, if the changes are not satisfying or even turn the story off-road, then it'll be us watchers yapping day and night. FYI, I had also read the novel before the filming began (when the 🍉 was still Chen Zheyuan and Esther Yu, to be precise). I must say I really like the main leads, whether it is Jiang Mu or Jin Chao. Jiang Mu is not a damsel-in-distress and can defend herself from those who wants to harm her and Jin Chao. And she's definitely not some kind of lovestruck girl like all of you saying (based on the brand new shitty script). With those being said, I'm still looking forward to this show even though I have to lower my expectation a bit due to this conflicts and blah blah blah. Furthermore, the director is notorious for destroying all kinds of projects that he had taken up before (just see the ratings for his previously-directed shows and you'll know why).
Now I understand why people are saying Su Yu and Mu Ranwu are super annoying. Whenever they pop out of the screen, I just keep mumbling 'please get out of my sight as soon as possible'. Anyway, no hate to the actors...
Picking this up again after dropping at ep 5 earlier. I hope I can continue till the final episode 'cause I'm sucker for xianxia dramas. Will be binging from dawn to dusk, I expect.
What I dislike the most in dramas are love triangle and toxic third wheeler, which I find quite infuriating. After one ep, I'm not sure I'm going to continue or not. Moreover, there's First Frost, Study Group, and Undercover High School to be covered in the following weeks. It's a shame, though. I really like the actors and want to try this drama for them.
Copyright issue. Apparently, they hadn't got the copyright of the OG source when they started filming. And now, this show is stuck in an endless limbo. God knows when it will air lol...
What is this I can't help but get angry The haters have gone too far Why does a good drama end up being prey to…
It's normal for rating to tumble down to 8.0 or 8.1 (much to my dismay). In the worst scenario, we can only wait for it to rise up until the show is completed. I really hope it can break to at least 8.4 or 8.5 considering the solid plot and exceptional acting from the casts.
Poor Yishui needs to be cleansed thoroughly after those sufferings in his childhood days. I feel rather sorry for him and quite understand that his ruthless personality stems from his past trauma. I hope Mu Qingge can bring him back to the right path before everything is too late to be undone.
The way Su Yishui played the qin just reminds me of myself. Just like what Mu Qingge said, his playing style was like a war song, full of blood and killing intent LMFAO 🤣🤣
Onward to ep 3 and 4 🤘🤘
Onward to ep 3 and 4 🤘🤘
Note: Just pretend that I'm fooling around lol.
