You can choose not to agree to my opinion. But, as you say about it, they're indeed becoming greedier, to the point of transferring assets and stuffs like that. But, that's how everything in this world works. I've seen too much scenarios like this.
Anyway, despite a lot of makjang served in the first two episodes, I enjoy it a lot and can feel the chemistry of the show. I'll be looking forward to binge it. Actually, I come here for my two boys only (Chang Huasen and Cheng Hongxin) including Asher Ma, whom I'd seen in Word of Honor.
Di Liren literally reminds me of my father's colleagues at work. Both are married and one of whom has two kids, and surprisingly both always flirt with other female workers at the office. Guess scoundrel men are popular nowadays.
I envy those of you who can watch Genius Girlfriend. I've seen the premise of the story and somehow the FL reminds me painfully of myself as a socially awkward but highly intelligent girl. And I understand what it feels like to be an outcast because you can't interact naturally with other people. Moreover, the smart ones will always get bullied (I experience it myself, though my friends only resort to petty verbal bullying) just because they're different, unique, or perhaps eccentric in the view of the public.
Right now, I'm going to list the reasons why I can't watch this drama: 1. Currently, I'm in final grade and have to take up numerous tutor classes in order to achieve better scores during my exams. In other words, I absolutely have minimal time to watch dramas. 2. I'm not a fan of Hu Yitian and has always avoided his dramas at all costs. Back then, I also excluded Blossoms of Adversity from my watchlist. 3. I still have Mystic Nine to handle and every jumpscare leaves me pumping adrenaline in the midnight (not a wise choice, but I only have free time in midnight).
So, to conclude everything, I'll always lurk in this page and see what kind of spoiler I can get from you folks and make an imagination based on the information provided.

I really like William Chan's portrayal as Zhang Qishan and also grow fond of his camaraderie with Hanson Ying, who plays Qi Tiezui. However, I still haven't connected to Joseph Zeng, or maybe it's because of his latest role as a lovesick puppy emperor in The Legend of Rosy Clouds.
I've seen a lot of people complaining about the AI intro, editing, lighting, filter, and whatsoever, including the illusionary S+ budget. Due to my health condition, I'm just treating it as a filler watch while waiting for "Road to Success" express episodes. I don't even sense any problem with the lighting, but it reminds me of "Pursuit of Jade", as if the director attempted his best to impersonate the former's director's style. As for the editing, the abrupt jump between the past and present can be unsettling to some people (personally, I would have made an outright yapping, but I really have no energy to do it). The story is giving republican era vertical mini dramas scattering outside. Coincidentally, it has the essential tropes needed to build this cliche story - grand entrance of the main characters, evil in-laws, marriage of interest, gossipy old hags, and more to come. I've deleted my rating as of now - I'll be waiting and see if there's improvement in the rating and people's feedback. If there is none, then I'm sorry but I have to opt out from "Overdo". I can't afford to waste my time again.
Wen Chengye sometimes gets sidelined as an outsider by his teammates. Whenever he wants to share his opinion or express his feelings to the others, he'd prefer to suppress himself rather than open up to them. Just what kind of backstory he got to make him become like this?
K-Drama 
Most people just don't contemplate how well this drama is written, considering how Kennedy Xu polishes the script over these 7 years.
It's a shame people nowadays love cheesy romance idol dramas with the same recycled trope.
