It's a fault of production. The deleted scenes are circulating at medsoc. They deleted many QS scenes. LCZ and QS fighting scene during rescuing general Wu is missing plot that get cut out. Also QS supposed to be there during LCZ fake death.. there are a list of cut scenes that could explain plot holes.. LCZ motive as in original script and novel was cut out.. making a mess..

QS and LCZ lookalike as in the original novel author. Imo, LCZ and QS have the same goal but both of them choose the opposite path to achieve that. Maybe the author use it kind of metaphor, it never truly explained.. so they adapted directly from the novel.
