Overall it's good but I have a few things that I found questionable:1. Why was Kanna so enthusiastic in saving…
I think Kanna grew to remember the love she once had for him. She remembered who he was before life hardened him and the regret of leaving his passions behind changed him. She saw him in his innocence and youth, still full of hope. That reminded her of how the marriage is what changed him. She decides to save him in the hope that they can do better next time, that he won't have regrets and that they will have a content marriage.
I think we were supposed to not think about that plothole lol.
I normally hate the love at first sight trope, but that's the only way this story would have worked. Kakeru is extremely attached and connected to her as soon as they meet, she already feels familiar to him. I mean he was crazy enough to propose marriage a month into dating, so it's not crazy that he may do it day one after learning all that.
That was soo goood! I was not expecting the movie to be that sincere or heartfelt. Rather than the story focus on time travel, it was only a plot device while the characters and their motivations took the center role.
This was so beautiful, I 100% recommend this to anyone who loves romances that feel like actual love.
