Like wtf it reached 85% live viewership in tving in minutes and showed consistent double-digit real time tv rating for a mon-tue drama(check out twitter where people are talking about this).

Till now I liked gyeon woo but he seemed so bland, but after the timeslip, the way he is now is just my type and gets me going lol. I could feel the way he yearns for her and see the desperate tinge his love has turned into which makes him more dangerous, unpredictable, more assertive or confident in pursuing Seong- ah(or it might not be the best word but rough should I say? The good kind, like when he pulls Seongah to him in the beach when she was running away from him) AND choo young woo is unbelievably hot like that!
He is a successful rich athlete but is still living in his old grandma's home so that Seongah will come back and he is relentlessly pursuing his first love every single day for years straight, publically mentions her in his interviews and collects all of his medals in her room. What if she becomes a ghost? Then he will be a ghost hunter to track her down lol. She becomes a goth bad girl(because of you know what *wink*)? He still won't stop going after her because he knows his girl is in there.
And the FL has come a long way too! She selflessly invites Bongsu into herself to save Gyeonwoo and disappears to tend to the 100 souls Bongsu killed and give them salvation, giving up her dream of graduating. Though worried, her mother would be proud of her.
But Seongah underestimated Gyeon woo. She might have done all the chasing in the initial stages but he is a changed man and wouldn't leave her so easily! He has fallen harder than ever and kinda like it might be difficult to make him fall but once he is in-- he is all in!!
The official character relationship chart released by tvn says gyeonwoo and seongah are each other's first love. So the girl who died in the fire in gyeonwoo's flashback must've been just his friend.

I watched it multiple times and thought the characters had insane chemistry according to the script, etc. But now I wish my boy Moon Gang Tae was played by another actor. Unfortunately Kim sae ron can't talk or defend herself now. It is because of the public constantly talking about this issue and keeping it alive or "living in the page" as you say, the family gained enough support to oppose the 'star' ksh which resulted in him even bothering to attend the press conference. Else he would've swept this issue under a rug, put a bed on top of it and fucked a minor again.

I think they see it as their form of justice(given their life experiences, surroundings, seeing in real life how the perpetrators get away with things and lost belief in the world). I deduced maybe they don't want another young victim of ksh like saeron or sulli suffering in the future(because let's be real, jung joonyoung and seungri are cancelled in korea but do you think they don't practice their filthy acts on women now elsewhere in the world?), or the bereaved family not being subjected to the absurd continued threat for years of paying 12 billion won or anything like that.
While personally I believe it is not for me to mete out justice, I iterate that I don't berate any side on their stance. Given all this, I admit that I hate that his fans are using this as an excuse to gather sympathy for him. I even suspect some of the users making death rumors about him are in fact his twisted fans in disguise trying to silence the criticism against him. And God, the way they compare his hate train with Kim sae ron's cyberbullying. I mean, guys, are they both accused of the same crimes with the same depth of evidences against them?
