Yeah but the thing is this isn’t Hemp Rope. This is Red Thread. So they’re hinting at WinTeam the same as they were only hinted in the book. There’s talk about Hemp Rope possibly becoming a series. If that happens then they’ll extend on it.

Many people are starting to complain about directors of Thai BLs using “sex sells” too much lately. Quite a few directors & series have been receiving backlash because of the sexual heaviness so I think that may be a part of it. But the scenes shown so far are still really good kissing wise. & if I remember correctly, nothing sexual happens until Pharm goes on the swimming trip with Dean, right? I could be wrong, I haven’t read it in a while lol.
Also Pharm is quite similar to me here as he is in the book. That could also just be me too though.

Bro, Tar has a VERY traumatic past. I won't spoil it (even though it's revealed in Love by Chance), but Tar & Tharn dated but something happened & they were forced apart. He has the same expression most of the time because he's depressed. He doesn't stalk or bother Tharn a lot, I actually don't think he's met with him since the breakup.
Tum is the only man Tar can trust & feel comfortable around now.

I haven't started this yet, but can anyone tell me if this will be a romance at all?

The novel is on 16 chapters & each chapter is only a few thousand words. compared to other Thai novels, this is a very short book so it makes sense for the series to only have the amount of episodes it does.

Guys, the novel this series is based on is only 16 chapters, each chapter being around 1,000-4,000 words. Seeing how TharnType's first 2 episodes had the first 8 chapters of their novel, it makes sense for this series to also be able to cover those amount of chapters in just a few episodes.
So the series isn't canceled, it was supposed to be short because the book is also short.

I know I'm 6 months late, but to my understanding, each story is based on real stories people sent in to a radio show. So this is an actual story that really happened to someone. It's not meant to be romanticized, it's meant to show real life situations, no matter how messed up it may be.
