I'm on episode 3. I don't like the old Na Hee Do, will I like her later?
This is bad casting. And I wouldn’t call it bad acting. The actress just doesn’t look or have any mannerisms that remind us of the young HD. Perhaps they are trying to say she has mature and her mannerisms has changed…if that is the excuse then they should have hired an actress that looks like KimTeri so that the audiences feel a connection between the young/old HD. If I have any complaints, this is major for me. I just can’t see her as the old HD.
9.1? This once more proves to me that MDL ratings and I do not vibe lol. This drama is good but imo more in the…
When the ratings are high, it come down to the message the drama is sending. If you look at all the characters (from young to old), they are all faced with issue that we all question ourselves. The drama does a good job of portraying these innocence's to all it's character. Even with the Teacher that beats up his student as a way of disciplines or the cops that believe it's not their place to intervene w/ how teacher disciplines their student. Their views were of their time but the youngster are the forces that's making those changes.
I think I just need to address something on this site because I really love the show, how they weave the stories,…
If I have a temper/energetic daughter like Heedo, my hope is that she find a great and caring guy like YiJin and hold onto him. They will complement each other. Age is not a problem at this stage of their life.
Some people are bending over backwards to make that confession not romantic and I still fail to understand how…
I’ve always see them as having romantic feelings for each other w/out actually making a move on it. When u wait at the phone booth and listen to each other’s message over and over again w/ tears in your eyes and when there’s so much commotions but you only hear their voice or even when you finally see them but afraid you’re gonna lose them….that to me is love in its purest form…not friendship. Those that think otherwise is making their own story for our leads here.
wrong title to begin with ... it's supposed to talk about the life of people at the age of 39 but this is just…
This I disagree. It's a birds eye view (based of SYJ's character, she does the voice over) of the major life change event when they are 39 heading to their 40 . Repeat: You said it yourself....It's not about people in general at the age of 39 it's about these #3 characters at the age of 39. The title is the least of any complaint.
But the scene where Jin Seok and Chanyoung cry though. Ep.4 really makes you cry bucket
Does our views and judgement really matter in this case because they are not hurting us. The wife misdeed had the worse implication on both her husband and her biological child, JS hanging on to CY as a way to continue living a life of deception, and CY continue to be with JS because of their reciprocate love. In the end JS is the only one at fault for not ending his marriage earlier because he was never going to be happy with this wife (and because of this CY's true love & affection for him is labelled as an affair).
The fact that some of you ladies (I assume) in here are judging how these 3 best friends should be acting or behave at their age of going on 40 is the issue in itself. STOP judging how they should fit your standard. No matter what age you are, you will always be that unchanging person in the face of loved ones.
