The drama had more intimate moment than the novel. The past was as innocent as can be. No physical intimacy at all.

In the novel, This couple is very mature and ZSC is very honest w/ her. If he doesn’t want to lie, he’ll tell her straight up “I don’t want to lie to you.” Also, ShiYi will never leave him.

To be precise, the present Zhousheng Chen's family is a part of Xiao Nanchen Prince family lineages. Zhou Sheng Ren tells Shiyi that Zhousheng Chen was name after Xiao NanChen Prince because he was part of the family Genealogy.

Shiyi is also reincarnated into a different person, she just maintain her memories (which are fading as the years goes by).

Agree. "Forever and Ever" and "The Oath of Love" are 2 of the most highly anticipated summer drama. I don't believe both airing platform would want to release them so close. Plus the later is kind of confirm since Tencent has started their count down already.

If Bailu's acting was tested in "One and Only" then in "Forever&Ever" Allen's acting will be on the front line. He had a couple of scary moments leading to the the big one.

ZSC & family are a direct descendent from Prince Nan Chen's family blood line; hence, that's how he got that name. So over the year, that family of high status are filled with wealth. They stay out of the public eye and invest all their $ & do all kinds of black market investment ect. There's infidelity issues and flight to be the rightful owner of the Zhou Clan. *This will likely not be in the book due to censorship.

I loved the book and I wanted it to follow it's main meaning behind "Beautiful Bones." However, in a drama setting, it's just a huge take when you change the leads because as audience we already identify with the prior leads. If "Forever and Ever" were to change for real, it would not have the same resolution/closure for our 2 leads because it's 2 different people that we did not see suffer. Hence, I like it the way it is.

I would like to remember my past too, because my life would have been more interesting but that’s not gonna happen. Lol. In seriousness, him not remember is the point of the story. Shiyi does seems like she is from another lifetime, so he eventually believes her. Technically Shiyi sees a psychiatrist as a young kid and CSC has all of ShiYi’s record so he should have some kind of extra sense about her.

There can be no link otherwise this drama would have been one drama instead of separate into 2 parts. It was done that way to past censorship. Reincarnation in a modern setting is misleading to certain believes, so can't have that.

Yea, when he met that Boat man, he said that gave him the answer, an indication that he couldn't regret it because it was all for the good of the people (to bring about peace w/ in the Palace). *The boat man had thanked him for the bravery ZSC has done (for his family).

The novel is only in the present time and Shiyi's memories of the past life were fading. Hence, 'OneandOnly' has a free range to do whatever as long as it follows the tragic ending.
