The hints are there.......it will sort of follow the novel and the Cdrama. Soo will be forced to leave the palace…
Hahah you are welcome @YehYuLing :)
@Kizzofdeath I think that if it follows the Chinese drama storyline closely then probably even if Hae Soo meets Wang So in the modern world, he obviously won't remember her and she'll feel guilty of the state she left Goryeo in. And she'll see him somewhere in the modern world and basically tear up! But because the Chinese one ended in this way (I guess, haven't watched the Chinese one; was spoiled by the comments here!) they had a sequel for it based entirely on the modern age but without any traces from the past!
Hence, I believe that if SBS won't make a sequel out of this one (which I think they probably won't as the drama didn't attain much stardom in Korea regardless if it did well on the international front), they might as well make Hae Soo and Wang So meet in the modern world, maybe making this a little more detailed unlike the Chinese one that left a cliffhanger (for the sequel), SBS might as well wrap up the show with a happy ending! This is what I'm hoping for!
I heard that in the Chinese sequel, they didn't even remember each other and didn't have any connection or titbits of the past!More like the characters of a modern age drama, thats it.
The article talks about a possibility of a sequel to Moon Lovers with the background being the present day! I understand that 3 episodes are not enough to end the story smoothly but its just an adaption so they may change things at their will. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Moon Lovers fan but I'm not sure if a second part would be fruitful enough and I base this on my observations of people who watched the Chinese version of Scarlet Heart (which was super popular back in its time) and did not really like what they saw in the 2nd part/the sequel to the Chinese version of the same (which also had the 'present-day-meet-again background)! Especially when Moon Lovers Ryeo is not receiving the same love from Korea as it is internationally!

OMG hahaha I agree that we all are so passionate about this drama that after watching a new episode of Moon Lovers, I find solace in reading all the comments here! :P
But the story is so interesting, its hard to keep our thoughts to ourselves! :O
I think it's the secretary who killed you know who...maybe
Gosh I hate Yoo Jin's secretary.
She's a good actress though :P
I hated her guts when she ordered K2 be killed off after the operation, the face she was making. :O Seems like she wants Yoo Jin's love all to herself lol :P
I know that Yoo Jin is evil and not very nice because of all the bad things she has done/will do, but damn I so…
OMG I said the same thing in my comment above! Yoo Jin's character as well as the actress (Song Yoon Ah) playing it is a silver lining to this show (along with Ji Chang Wook)!
I feel like standing up for her. Like, I want her badass character back again too! I like it when she cares for Jae Ha as well as when she's threatening her rivals! Yes, she just needs her Mirror software! Gosh, I love her character like even if she's evil it convinces me that she's right at her stand, for a moment!
Oh man, the writing has been a huge letdown with this one. The impressive world building and rich characterization…
I agree with the fact that in these last episodes, its been either like "something happens" and "that thing is tackled" and as a bonus - some romance.
I don't know if this is correct but because of such amazing performance by Song Yoon Ah, when her character receives a blow during the story, I feel like standing up for her lol :P
Good news ya'll episode 17 is confirmed to air on Monday....And we are getting an extra episode for the finale
Thank you for the article @CharityRich :) I read in one of the links that " it was confirmed by a baseball official that SBS will not be airing the baseball Po Round 3 on Oct. 24. The said baseball match will still air on Oct. 24 but it will be broadcasted through SBS Sports "
WTH They had SBS Sports and still aired baseball matches on SBS main channel? :P
I really wish SBS would have treated this drama better!! At first it didn't garner good ratings in Korea (I mean, seriously? Even with such a tremendously famous cast?!) Two/three versions per episode is already ridiculous enough. Now we have to put up with the baseball mess too?! With all of this I bet the Moon Lovers cast is very grateful that their hard work is deeply appreciated by literally millions of international fans. Otherwise they must be pulling out their hair by now.
i been waiting ONE WEEK suddenly will not on air tonight and tomorrow this is really unfair we're have to…
OMG SAME! I watched Ep 15 last Monday and stopped myself from watching further (I had exams the following week and didn't want to get super sad about Prince Eun and his wife's death) and hence decided to watch Ep 16 next week when Ep 17 and 18 were supposed to air! So much for being patient all this week! I was surprised today when I opened the streaming sites and saw Ep 16 as been uploaded on 18th Oct 2016, which is yesterday! OMG I controlled myself so much in order to not watch previews and read the comments here and now I get no episode?!
What is the deal finally? Did Ep 17 even air this week? In Korea, only Ep 16 aired on Tuesday? Hahaha this is so funny?! Does this mean only the international fans have watched Ep 16? :O WTH Why are the Chinese and the International one following the same schedule as the Korean one? Do they also coincidentally have baseball matches on the same date and time as SBS Korea? *rolls eyes*
I have no choice but to be pissed at SBS on the sudden cancellation of episodes and also the fact that this drama is edited to the extent of it having 3 versions!!! I always feel like I'm missing out on something if I don't watch them all!
I don't understand this mess! All I know is that in Korea Ep 17 and 18 will air next week on 24th and 25th October. Which is also said to have been labelled as "maybe" as there is another baseball match on 24th! :X But what about the Chinese and the International one then? :(
