Haven't watched it yet, but I think this is the show. I often come on and check to see if there is any info on a series/movie before I watch it, and this looks like it might be it. Was posted 22hrs ago so hopefully it stays around for those that would like to watch it.
On a side note, I would like to thank you for all the hard work you do. I have been watching these vertigo series for a few years now and remember when I first started watching them how hard it was to find any info on them and their actors. Now I can find tons of them thanks to you and a few others, but especially you. No worries, and you are very welcome! There are a few that I have figured out over the yrs, but I have asked about abbreviations myself before, especially when people do it for certain dramas. Some are obvious, but others I am completely clueless about, and then I laugh at myself for not figuring it out! Lol. Anyhow, glad I could share as I have appreciated it when others answered me!😊

Normally I would have too, Complete fluke that I caught it this time, but so glad I did cuz it made the ending that much sweeter! Only putting this under spoiler as I know some people don't like to know if there is a HE or a SE. I personally always want to know if it is a HE or not, but I respect others don't!😊

I enjoyed this one too! I really liked how they showed her at the end. It made sense she would be in her original form, but I loved that they still showed how she was for most of the drama. I always feel it's kinda unfair to the actor/actress when they are simply "replaced" at the end. Like the one who did all the hard work making you fall for their character, is just dismissed. Xiao Che loved her as she was first, but he went through so much with her as Jiang Jin Li, that he would blend the two. I wish their hug at the end had been included before the credits came up, as some people won't see it as most (usually me too) just stop at the end and don't let the credits play out. I thought the flashback was interesting as it explained what she was thinking at the time and let us know just how much she loved him and how grateful she was. I took it not only as a goodbye to her old self, but it also became a goodbye to all of it again at the end. It was like the jade pendant had concluded it's magic and reset everything back to how it should have been. That's how I looked at it anyhow. 😊

Hearing of Cheng Yi is bitter sweet. I absolutely LOVED him and Crystal in L&R and always hoped that they would reunite in another drama. Sadly the fan wars destroyed that hope even before Crystal was banned. I appreciate the head's up about not wasting my time, and will check out the situation again after the other parts have aired!

As soon as Yuan Bingyan (Crystal Yuan) was removed from the cast I lost all desire to see this. Even though I have previously enjoyed projects from both Yang Mi and Simon Gong, the drama following this series was a major turn off. As the first part has now aired completely I had to swing by and see what the rating was to see if I should consider watching it anyhow.
After reading some comments, l still have no interest, which is a shame cuz it really seemed to have potential once upon a time! So disappointing cuz I absolutely love dramas like Ten Miles..... & Love and Redemption and had been so excited when Crystal was gonna be in this along with Yang Mi.
Oh well, there are 2 more parts so maybe there is room for some redemption!😊

@Xiangrikui Could you plz put that under spoiler. as that just ruined the surprise of it for me. I like to read a few comments before hand because these days I really prefer happy endings. If I click on the spoiler myself, well, that was my choice. I didn't mean to see your response, but it wasn't possible to avoid it in time. Agree! And I loved Cheng Lei/Ryan Cheng in Queen of Attack. One of my very first, (and still a favorite) mini series to watch. Here's hoping both these fine men, and many of the well know actors/actresses from these mini dramas on YouTube, have great futures ahead! I have really come to love and appreciate some of these mini dramas though as they don't have unnecessary fillers and they are great for rewatching! Sometimes you wish they were longer but it can be really nice sometimes finishing these minis in one sitting. Like an extended movie. It is a shame people dismiss some of these mini dramas just because they are short. There are definitely some bad ones out there, but there are some really fantastic ones too! At least Ryan and Richard have their info here and a bunch of their works are available to watch. Sadly a ton of the mini drama actors/actresses (the vertically filmed ones) are not even listed on MDL. But if there is anyone who deserves to break into the longer mainstream dramas, it's definitely Richard!

Might be too soon to answer one way or the other as there are "extra" episodes to air still. I haven't watched any of it yet, so I will wait until those are aired and then make the decision to watch or not. I enjoy Richard Li's stuff so I am really hoping it has a HE. Fingers crossed!

No idea if this is any good, but I came across this today, and in the comments someone left Ji Jun's name. I looked it up cuz I have been watching a ton of these types of shows on YouTube lately, and it's really hard to get the actress/actors' names. Glad you enjoyed it. Ding Yu Xi has a certain type of charm I just can't put my finger on. I think my favorite character was the demon cat. He nailed the cat characteristics and I liked his aesthetics. Anytime I watch a big, popular drama I check out MK916 FmVs' work afterwards. I watched the FMV for Till The End of The Moon a few times to help get over it. I especially liked the one for The Blue Whisper, but all of her/his work is really good!😊
