I have been checking these comments regularly for several months, so I understand the jist of the tax issue and how Crystal has been targeted by toxic fans of other actors. There have been a bunch of you keeping all of us updated, especially bluepanda, Dormaslover, & Liz Florez. Thank you very much for your efforts. It's been much appreciated. Thanks to all who have shared updates.
I am sure with the recent announcement that LNF passed review, many will come here to check out the comments. I just came across a great comment that a person left on a Youtube channel, and I thought I would share it for those that are maybe a little confused as to why Crystal isn't banned when others have been. The comment was left by Fatuma Saed on the channel Marcus here!

"Fans clarify why Yuan Bingyan's dramas can air and the difference of her case to Deng Lun and Fan Bingbing who both have been banned due to tax evasion.

"
Yuan Bingyan's Love Never Fails has been issued a license. Her drama can be broadcast, but Deng Lun's drama cannot be broadcast. Yuan Bingyan's definition of tax case is different from Deng Lun. The subject of Yuan Bingyan's tax penalty is her company, and the content of the penalty is in Article 69 of the tax law, and she is only punished for failing to fulfill the withholding and payment obligation.

She herself has not been punished by administrative punishment; the company has not been punished for tax evasion, which is completely different from Deng Lun and Fan Bingbing. Both of them are legal tax evaders, and their penalty is in Article 63 of the Tax Law, and they have been subject to administrative punishment. And both were nationally announced by the state-owned TV channel CCTV. Therefore, none of the works to be broadcast can air.

The nature of their cases are different and should not be confused at all.

In case some of you are wondering about it, that's the "possible" reason and we international fans should have at least idea about it. 👌

MGTV is still testing the waters, sending out news from time to time to hear public opinion and probably find the right timing for its possible airing. After all, if there is really a chance, any company will grab it that opportunity."

Anyhow, I know that won't satisfy the haters, but I thought it might help explain the difference. The best revenge is a triumphant return!❤

For those that think there was too much of a dramatic change for the last few episodes, I disagree! I think it fit perfectly for several reasons. When have our dreams ever followed logic? We may be in our kitchen one moment and flying the next, or the mood suddenly goes from fun to scary in the blink of an eye. Dreams change drastically one second to the next. But, the biggest reason I feel this change in tone worked so well is because the female lead had a glimpse of what not having an education could cost you and she was shown the harsh realities of having to eventually grow up and take responsibility. She was carefree, avoiding work and not applying herself or taking things seriously. She suddenly had to grow . She had to make a choice when things started spiraling out of control. This dream taught her to start caring and not to leave the worrying to others. She becomes focused and works hard to get into college. It was a life altering experience! The tone changes just as she is realizing all this. It changed, because SHE changed!! And it was a dream so it wasn't too dramatic as we see all these characters alive and well in the real world. I believe it truly was a just a dream. The male lead wrote the comic and he incorporated himself into it, so yes she truly did get to know him and I also believe he was very interested in her and she had no idea. I think they would go on to have a great love affair as she got to know him through his writing and he has been watching her since high school. So for one enjoyed it, even if there was a few too many poop jokes! lol

Can’t get over Darren now that the show has ended. I thought I will never find another show that gives me ashes…
I haven't seen this one yet, and might hold off for a bit or completely, as I tend to shy away from sad endings. Love and Redemption is a good one to check out if you haven't already seen it, as it has a similar vibe to Ashes of Love (which I enjoyed) and of course Eternal Love (Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms). I have been waiting for The Wolf for so long as I really like what I have previously seen of Darren's work, so, I might just bite the bullet & watch it!!

Does she fall in love with the actress she's a bodyguard for? Or some male? I'm confused from the description…
The trailer on Netflix show's a male superstar that a female gangster is fangirling over. Maybe it's a mistake on the description saying actress instead of actor. I was surprised by that too! Lol

Yep! I agree! A lot of people said the same thing about the drama The Untamed - sometimes not having explicit…
So I just finished The World Owes Me...../Lucky's First Love and the first thing I did was read your review of it and I found it to be spot on. I really enjoyed the fact that the characters knew each other for years when we were introduced to them, and the flashbacks were used nicely to show us backstories! You also knew right from the start that Xia Ke was in love with Xing Yun, even if he didn't quite know it yet! There was some believeable chemisty between Bai Lu and Xing Zhao Lin but I do prefer Bai Lu with Xu Kai and Xing Zhao Lin with Liang Jie in The Eternal Love. I may be partial as The Eternal Love is up there in my top 3 favorites, which also includes It's Okay That's Love and Kill Me Heal Me. Love, love, love those 3 dramas!! I have enjoyed many but those 3 stayed with me the longest, though Le Coup de Foudre is right up there too!! And I could list a bunch of others like Ashes of Love and 10 Miles of Peach Blossom etc and a ton of Japanese ones too, but the previous 3 I mentioned are just my personal faves! I agree the kiss scenes were great in Lucky's First Love, and WOW, what a first kiss!! (Another great first kiss, at least if memory serves correctly that it was a first kiss, lol, is Chris Wu and Ivy Shao in The Perfect Match.) I never get tired of watching Xing Zhao Lin!! And he didn't disappoint. So young and so talented! I also really loved Bai Lu's little giggles. She has a great voice and the deep tones of her little laughs always made me smile. I loved the He Yu and Yao Qing pairing from the moment they were introduced and knew right from the start they would be together as their chemistry was great. I never felt He Yu had any with Xing Yun, but when He Yu was on screen with Yao Qing he became truly appealing! So while the chemistry of the main leads in this drama wasn't sizzling, BL and XZL definitely still seemed like a believable couple and I enjoyed watching them come to realise their love. There were a ton of cute scenes and it was a decent watch. I have to say though, I am beyond tired of watching these dramas where the 2nd lead (usually the females, but there are males too) that just can't accept that the main lead doesn't love them. I can't stand all the lies and evil machinations these characters pull to try to get the main leads attention. It was barely tolerable in this one, but maybe others won't find it as painful to watch as I did cuz I am just plain burnt out of that troupe!! So all in all, not a bad drama and I really enjoyed reading your thoughts on it too!

Not sure if you have heard yet, or if you are even interested, but they will be acting together in a 3rd drama! Xu Kai & Bai Lu will be staring in a new palace drama called Imperial Cuisine. Filming is set for fall next year so the drama won't be out till 2021. Sadly, netizens are complaining about them pairing up again, but l for one am looking forward to seeing their fantastic chemistry again. If you are insterested Asian Drama News has a youtube channel going into more detail.????

Awesome, thnx! I will definitely be watching it & when l do l will read your review. I took a quick glance at it, but l like to read the more in depth reviews after l have watched a series. I check the comments before hand to see if it has a happy ending & to get a general feel for it. After l finish a show l go back and look at the reviews to see if anyone felt the same way l did. So as soon as l finish this one l will read your review too!! And in case you didn't already know, Xing Zhao Lin & Liang Jie are going to be in another drama together, aside from The Eternal Love 3. They are starring in another version of, You Are My Dedtiny, due out late next year. Looking forward to that one!!

Yeah, l read that the reason for the kisses & affection being removed was to make sure there was no embarrassment to the military as well. But they could have thrown in a kiss when she wasn't in disguise, lol. And l agree, sometimes not showing can be even more tantalizing! If you haven't seen King is Not Easy, Bai Lu is super cute in that too & the clips at the end of each episode are adorable. I almost didn't watch that show cuz of the negative comments making it sound like the ending was a complete let down. I really enjoyed it and thought that it was open to another season, but finished in an okay spot if it didn't continue. That series was my intro to her. I am interested in Lucky's First Love (aka The World Owes Me a First Love) but l love Xing Zhao Lin so much with Liang Jie in The Eternal Love series that l have held off, lol. Now that man can kiss & the chemistry between the 2 is off the charts!!

It is ironic that kiss scenes are deleted because they are deemed inappropriate, while gruesome scenses of killing and torture are considered perfectly acceptable! Good to know the priorities! However, while l would have enjoyed more PDA from the leads, the lack of kiss scenes in no way detracts from the amazing chemistry between the two and their love shines through. There are plenty of sweet and cute scenes and while a kiss would have been the cherry on top, it wasn't necessary. Now, l think l can say this as l had already seen The Legends, and can already imagine the passion their kisses would have had. And, truth be told, l did pop onto youtube once or twice during this series just to get a quick "fix" from kiss scenes from The Legends. Lol. I would almost recommend watching AMA first just to allow the anticipation to build, however knowing what their chemistry was already like dissipated any frustration l might have otherwise had! Those two can kiss!! Hope to see them working together in the future!!

It was a light watch, I liked the romance and the main actor is cute ;) will have to check out his other dramas…
I wondered about that too as nothing was told to us directly. But my take on it was the fact that he used to be a Host was his dark past. He was way too good at hosting to have only done it once or twice to help out his mom. The look his mother had on her face also lead me to believe it wasn't her first time seeing him in action. I am in no way knocking Hosting, l am just commenting on how Hosting has been portrayed in other dramas. Akutsu also implied there were many women in Hiroto's past. I could be totally wrong, but that was my understanding. l also agree with Nana8, as l really liked Kuzu no Honkai too! Perfect crime is not bad either, & Koe Koi is kinda cute!
