No problem. I'm not sure my explanations are entirely correct and in tune with the creators' vision, though. But I think that's the beauty of this drama: it's very lifelike, characters behave like real people, and in reality human emotions and actions can rarely be simply explained in just one way.

Did anyone else notice that the man (don't remember his name, one of the culprits in the opera case, the last one) who had been pinned to some wooden surface with a sword (the sword our FL couldn't remove because that would instantly kill the man), has somehow managed to 'unpin' himself, the sword still being in his chest when he fell? Did I miss anything or was it just a logical mistake on the part of the creators?

Back to the much discussed fire scene in ep. 19...

I love it how the rating is steadily growing and hope this doesn't change. Even though the opera-case wasn't very interesting for me personally, I still admit this drama is really wonderful and I would love more people to notice and appreciate it.

Oh, TYSM for voicing this! The ML is very likeable, but there's something highly egotistical about his behavior around the FL, because he IS ruining her reputation with his every action. For all I know, he can't be sure he will be able / allowed to marry her even if they manage to settle everything with her late father's reputation and restore her status, but he is deliberately making it impossible for her to get married to whomever and whenever. I know, she is not marriage-oriented at all, and probably doesn't care if she stays unwed, but his behavior is really irresponsible. And, something really felt off to me when he forcefully ruined his cousin's hopes of proposing to Wan and looked oh so smug about it. I know I'm supposed to root for the OTP, but I felt really sorry for the guy who seemed to genuinely like FL and treat her with thoughtfulness and respect.

What I really love about this drama is just how balanced it is, like, it has everything but never too much of anything. It can be painfully touching in one moment and ridiculously funny in another, be romance-centered or friendship-centered, give out bombastic Stargate vibes in the beginning of an episode and decline into, well, a weird chicken plotting to save FL who is being buried alive by an alien-possessed Leopard woman... Can't wait to watch the next episode and see the whole rescue operation.

Such a beautiful movie. Made me cry a couple of times 🥲 Loved how they didn’t opt for a plain HE, the ending is rather bittersweet, because there are hard times ahead and no one knows how (or if) this couple is gonna handle them. Don’t get the 7,8 score on MDL. However, I mostly fail to understand this scoring system 🤷🏻‍♀️….

Have watched 13 episodes and absolutely loving it so far 😍 Genuinely regret not having started this title earlier. UPD: finished 四方馆 and LOOOVVVVEEED every bit of it. Definitely add it to the list of my all-time favourite productions!

Wow, I really don't get the 7.8. The drama is soo good, very interesting to watch, great acting, a couple of tearjerkers, a very dynamic finale and a slight cliffhanger in the final moments to make one crave for the second season (which will probably never be).

Yeah, it kind of does, but I guess it's just a coincidence: this film is supposed to be an adaptation of some novel (which I haven't read though), and Korean 'Faith' was extremely loosely based on D. Gabaldon's 'The Outlander,' so the sources are different.
