wtf, he is pitiful character who actually clever and cunning. his character set up is interesting he can selfdestruct if his obsesion and lovesick taking over him but he can also win the throne considering he know what majesty/king/emperor want and change plan according to it.

I'm not sure about that. FL also has powerful fighting Qi(it should be right? She is a legend after all) but she is never shown to make the enemy fly back.

ML is his enemy and the thought of killing the enemy did not make him beyond saving. just because ML helps him doesn't automatically remove ML from the enemy list but he probably has a little gratitude toward ML but not enough to change their relationship.
at the end of the day, he saves ML and there is a probability that on top of FL crying ML saving him earlier is also part of the reason.

there is a certain drama that ended recently, ML has a love obsession with FL. He choked her and forcefully kissed her but, at the end of the story he still got her love.
until episode 20 at least LTG is still not that low who forcefully makes FL be with him. even though I am also not sure if he will be a better person in the end.
yeah and whats wrong with it? he doesn't have relation to ML to give him a rare limited pill. he doesn't have obligation to help stranger people from other nation, ML died is his advantage because one of his rival gone but he still give him because FL crying.

some part of me wants him to get redemption. In episode 20 he is still ashamed when they point out his desire and he still gives ML a pill when he gonna die. I didn't support him with FL but, until now I just see him as a pitiful character who longs for his master's affection and is obsessed by it.
until episode 20 i'm not gonna categorize him as psychopath but a crazy people because of lack affection. before he meet FL again he look like a cunning guy who have a goal. he know when to advance and retreat, when he should lie low and when to take opportunity but after he meet FL he become dumb person and his obsession of his master affection is take over him.
LTG is an interesting character. Of all the characters in here, he is one of the few who have a deep back story. his lack of affection in childhood, getting a master who gives him the affection a child is supposed to get, and her disappearing makes his choice of action in the present time have a reason.
he is a pitiful character. I don't know if they will give him a redemption arc or not but he got my attention to watch how he will become in the future
