There's a huge connection. Have you watched Kill Boksoon? She worked for MK and then killed the chairman and his sister and others as well. That is mentioned in this spinoff as Mantis happened a year later. That's why when he came back from vacation he was shocked that the original chairman died. Now MK is pretty much in shambles and Mantis' teacher who was a cofounder of MK was coming out of retirement to take over. Boksoon also has a cameo in the movie. Mantis and Boksoon worked together. Even Mantis was mentioned in Kill Boksoon. This is just Mantis' story. It's a spin off. If you watched Kill Boksoon, then you should be able to understand that the two are in the same universe, just stories on different assassins.
Good Lord, the hate this is getting! Idk if anyone can tell, but it's most likely gonna get a season 2..anytime they stop with 8 episodes, there will be another season. However with the hate y'all are giving, probably not! World is full of complainers.
Everyone is asking why there aren't 12 angels...if you remember from the beginning, some of them died in the big fight. Let's pay attention. Just like if you pay attention you'll get hints of who is what animal of the Zodiac. I do agree that some of the fight scenes were just not what was expected. Having this fat tiger Angel slowly beat people up and then remarkabley win, was a wtf moment. Though the other fight scenes werent as horrid as everyone is making them out to be. I enjoyed when the 3 angles fought the thugs. I myself like the plot so far. This score is wayyyy to low.
I myself give it an 8/10. I will say 8 episodes is far to short, this needed to be a 12-14 episode. Unless they were expecting to come back with a second season, in that case, not the smartest move.. however it's still interesting to me, but I am into the zodiac and astrology.

If it's so accepted, we wouldn't have to deal with the censoring problem. Also the government taking bl off the air. I could continue to go on, but we already know that the government is pretty homophobic.
So I don't understand what is happening? is this series going to be taken off air? I'm not going to invest my time in something if I am unable to finish it. Or is it going to be censored to the point it skips around because the Chinese Gov. Sucks pixie dîcks.
