Who is the doctor friend in episode 6?! She's not listed in the cast at all and she's STUNNING.
The S2 OP credits say her name is Noon Nattanich. In the Thai credits her name is listed as ณัฏฐนิช ศรีสำรวล / Natthanich Srisamruan (according to Google translate)
The "Sakurai Yuki" who was casted as Ienaga Kano in Golden Kamuy drama is not him, but the female actress one:https://kisskh.at/people/11497-sakurai-yuki
I just saw that it hadn't been fixed yet so I have submitted an edit request. This is why MDL should be more consistent when it comes to romanized Japanese names/titles and long vowels
I'm in Japan and on Netflix all episodes that have aired so far are up. Episodes 1–5 have subtitles in many different languages, but episodes 6–7 episodes only have subtitles in four languages: Japanese, English, Korean and Traditional Chinese (=Taiwan), episode 8 has the English subtitles missing and episode 9 has no subtitles at all.
The fact that the show is produced by TBS and not Netflix means that there are probably some geo-blocking/licensing issues going on when it comes to when different episodes became available in what region. Therefore, people in South Korea and Taiwan get access to the show earlier (TBS might have been more willing to give them the rights to stream earlier since they're a) neighboring countries and b) the target audience may be bigger compared to e.g. the U.S.), whereas most people won't be able to watch newer episodes until mid-April.
why is netflix taking so long to release? almost a month away...

can someone tell me where nana went and why theres some other girl who replaced her im so confused
The story skips ahead in time by over ten years in episode 6 so I'm guessing they preferred to use an older actress for the scenes that take place in 2023. (Though funnily enough the other actors in prison are still the same, so I'm not sure why they didn't just have Nana use aging makeup)
An update since this is a big deal in Japanese media and on social media right now: the publisher of the original…
It's true that the author didn't get to directly communicate with the screenwriter. Even so, considering that Ashihara revised the script for every episode before Aizawa got the sack, it seems weird that the latter wouldn't have noticed anything. Though I guess it's also a possibility that the producers somehow managed to lie to her about it and she didn't find out because she didn't watch the drama (since she said she was confused that Ashihara wanted to write the script for the last two episodes). If what she said is true, I think NTV and the publisher Shougakukan should come out and clarify that since she's been getting hate on social media. However, so far it seems like they're planning to keep their mouths shut about everything that happened (at least the publisher have announced that they refuse to release any details to the public)
Terrible news about the creator of the original manga. Shame on the TV network person in charge and the producer…
An update since this is a big deal in Japanese media and on social media right now: the publisher of the original manga and the original screenwriter Aizawa Tomoko have currently both come under fire for statements they've put out related to the author's death (the publisher because their RIP statement was deemed too cold and the screenwriter because she claimed she was unaware that the author wanted the drama to remain as faithful to the original as possible which contradicts what Ashihara said in her blog post). This whole thing has been a shit show from start to finish
I watched it long before you subtitled it, but thank you for subbing the great show Aries no otome tachi!
I hope a better version of the show (and a few others like Yanus no Kagami) than the one that's on Dailymotion will surface online one day, but unfortunately most Daiei DVDs only seem to go on sale once in a blue moon for the "measly" price of at least 30–40k yen or more
Yo. Few gems on amazon.jp : https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/video/storefront/ref=as_li_ss_tl?benefitId=toeich&linkCode=sl2&tag=toeicontent0d-22&linkId=65835b3049214c0b40e202c08c4d9c00&language=ja_JP
Ils n'ont pas l'air d'avoir celles que je cherche spécifiquement mais c'est vrai qu'ils ont beaucoup de vielles séries TV sur Amazon Prime

Are you planning to sub any of the other entries in the series?
NTV have put out an apology now.
