Writer has merely 24 episodes and even there story moves too slowly and there are too many fillers. The sitting ducks gongs are running a franchise of other group. u r agent, u r agent, every1 is agent - It is turned into comedy now. forceful imposition of magic of romance brings down story at every instant - whatever little story is.
Story overall is ok ok - it's the presentation and how to achieve the outcome that is too low quality and cheap tricks can't cover it. Romance is main ingredient or the only needed one but It's pretty fake n superficial.
Overall, still an avg. timepass. typical overhyped avg. media.
I think the 1st week wasn't much as i was expecting. Fight scene also looked quite silly. Politics sure is going good and all because of Kim Ok Bin's character. Brother recognition and then meetup wasn't as much either and only played for cliche switching.
They do usual comedy play of 2 guys having banter before every fight. Fights make much par of the drama - typical fights and there is not much for characters or story.
anything dumb for fanservice and then market the product as something sensible. The show is too loose on all sides. Same buzzwords of development being deployed to portray the generic hero of a typical story where magic of love and power of love taglines overtake everything. This is whole class of heros who rides on sympathy and pity wave and yet get all the favours of world and have all the plot and +ve things on their side just to make a ridiculous point of they are strong and they deserve it. If that doesn't work you have romance to fall back on. Easy but cheap tricks the show still is riding on gimmicks and not much on substance with events kept on repeating aka copy-pasted from earlier episodes.
Writer will keep on this nonsense because they have to fill the time to fill the quota of episodes as it's their job and that's how they pay the bills - That itself tells writer has not much to offer when 3 weeks itself writer is keep on copying the earlier scenes.
In these kinds of dramas - audience is the one writes the story aka audience move the story - Writer just add any nonsense and audience is left to create meaning out of all that nonsense.
Aiii???Are we watching the same drama?Ur explaination of the drama from ur perspective and the way Iam watching…
so identities like u gonna decide what some1 watches and whatnot, or what they can what or what not. rather than behaving like a lout, better learn to accept different views.
Seriously, i don't think this more than above average. Actors did well but story is done well here too but at times it does looks moving too fast and characters building a relationship was a bit fast too - and it lacked on comedy part - but overall it is well made - they could have done better by adding 2 more episodes and fight scenes could have been better.
Emotional scenes surely were good but even there because of story u feel it didn't reach its peak.
Meet yourself is 100 times better than any korean trash. Meet yourself a social romanced drama and this concept of taking time off and wandering around is cliche trope of cinema as well as tv.
As i have kept on saying the writer+director have been oversmart from 1st episode itself. Characters aren't so smart and intelligent, it's just that when convenient everyone other is made to look like an idiot so main characters look better and shinny. The narrative of revealing things later to showcase as some smart move isn't good writing at all as you can change and alter anything and everything at your own whims and portray it as like a woah chess move. There is little strategy or tactics here and almost no useful mind games - just propping done with camera angles and music.
As said before, as expected and as the audience keep on saying this drama is just too low on quality. The 3 girlds surely are cinderlleas of midsummer if status is the criteria. Even in relationship the girls have 2 guys each running for them and much of romance is nonsensical - It could have turned out above average but it naah, writer just adds anything on whim a doing a scam - 9 episodes in n u see story barely moved. writer copy-pasted every other drama just to fill the time - characters are even more more silly - corny copy-pastes.
Japanese dramas started to churn those 25min fluffy romance dramas and even they do more in terms of story n characters. Cliches n tropes are expected - but presentation matters and here presentation is shit, Three cliche of the cliche couples still could have worked out as a mediocre drama but it is not even that.

Heroine is the one keeping this ship afloat.
