Hero actually got too much time that lessened the family impact. Brother is more like a prop so that hero could shine and appear charismatic. This is typical cheap trick almost all kdrama writers employ all the time.
Story has time jump or not - the 1st episode's intentional writing n direction to confuse audience is pretty poor attempt of portray story. And if you see young parents - then it is very much a copy-paste with same antics.
This drama as expected has many choosing beggars and writer is playing very cheap sympathy and relatable card for the heroine. Audience genuinely side with heroines you don't need to go over the top just to create this superficial atmosphere. Surely they know who their majority of he audience is so they keep on doing the same thing.

This writer got one more episode - woah. From the 1st episode it was clear what shit this whole show is and much of public reaction was against it. Ratings were pretty bad made lowest records and this show still got one more episodes because idols.
