there wasn't much to do in episode 03 so it being simple cliche actually worked and made it look better than bleh 1st week, but by 4th episode writer back on track to same below avg. stuff. n expecting logic from a kdrama a big feat and now most writers depend up other story to fill the quota of 16 episodes. nothing much there to talk about such content but surely writer earning easy money with little to no efforts.
This show is very deficient in palace politics and at the same time got the hero his job. The factor that could hv made it above avg. is the factor that is keeping it just avg. And as expected from any kdrama writer, forced romance is driving it down - the show lacks that intensity and actually, its the king that boosted the show compared to the hero. Hero playing his cards now brings more character which is good. heroine as usual the weak point. Direction also needed careful editing. Music is your typical one. Overall the story had n still has potential - characters r weak and coming off as fillers than bringing anything on table. hero alone can't drive the whole show forward.
Another rich this n that drama n where every -ve leads to businessmen with some sprinkle of politics+corruption buzzwords n hero team being justice seekers. stale food made interesting by adding an influencer as a police. pretty avg. 1st week.
In a kdrama hero has to be different whether smart of werid but has to be different, can't be a common man or an average member of society - then hero can't be hero naa - also hero's antics have to be justified and all nonsense have to be accepted by accpeting all that. Which this sho is also gong along with.
Hero or heroine - if police or prosecuter and soemtimes advocate - do crazy stuff b/c different - hv to look cool - same going here - Heorine actually has come out as very normal compared to all other hero-heroines . This d only +ve of the show.

it's the same copy-paste again. job of a kdrama writer d most easiest - do nothing, no effort, no sense - just copy same stale formula everywhere n reap d benefits. U hv 2 give credit 2 riters for running such scams for years and increasing their wealth. another low quality stuff with no merits at all.
These guys have it good being loafers roaming all day around heroine's house. Well, that's the only job kdrma heroes usually have. And when you hv a job, that is to create drama and nothing more. proper usage of job prop. The mother does more work in reality as in drama compared to al these pretty faces. From justification excuses, we have now dived into typical muh family, muh parents copy-paste scenario - the typical outside culprits. These writers have it ay too easy - literally run youube videos in the name of a drama. tiktok skits put more efforts into their content.

this mismash is what writers do and e can't nitpick much here but still expect more sincere efforts from the team which i think they never indulge in. so whole shows looks like a cheap product scam than something good. i see it as an easy way to rake some money now. korean cinema is altogether on different level. I see things and i speak about them, whether some1 likes or dislike my views, it's their freedom to do so.

copy-paste not makes for variety and certainly isn't good story and usually involves very less vocab that u don't even need translation. Less said about the acting the better. They are in no way anyway better than hallmark movies at all where 3 minute trailer itself shows hole story.
