Their is no balance and it's almost always the intent.
It has many +ve factors and for that writer is doing good but writer also is scoring many -ve and overall content is coming out as with potential - wastage at higher level.
The only thing this show has is the story - and that's what keeps you going. Writing is terrible and direction even tops it. Music being avg. and acting whatever that level it is falls apart in certain instances. relationship dynamics are interesting but show hasn't brought much nuance on the table at all.
