even with all the stupidity and idiocy from all the characters - this show was +ve.
because in this show everything is at surface level. characters are intentionally simple so as not make things serious. Mother meeting daughter or son meeting mother and all those warm feelings of parent child barely have screentime. Writer just busy stretching the episodes where nothing much goes on. Even the whole drama is kept simple and all this makes you take things not seriously.
lots of time is wasted which could have been spend building the characters,but, from a kdrama you can't expect much.
woah - rare good drama - rare good married couple. Side couple nee slightly more screentime to jem with the plot. mother-in-law n father of hero are such typecast that they overall reducing the quality of the show.

Yeah - a good one. simple style but viewable and likeable. character as usual are a bit weak but when you have a good story source then you get good content. direction, music and acting is same as you expect. Yamada anna looks quite good. Overall, a nice watch.
Dailies are for raising your blood - their sponsor surely are crockery business - because each week they make you feel like breaking few of your kitchenware. There is just too much -ve going on in this show. It would hv been better to have a hero n heroine having wide range of nature and professional differences and then coming around - that could hv alone made up for 35 episodes but naah we need our typical soap opera and low quality cliches. everything is copy paste as expected but you get atleast 1 interesting scene every week - n this week was drunk hero-heroine in child superheros mode.

It does hv rare above avg. or even say good kdrama characters - story in 1st 4 episodes is quite good but can't be said the same about next 4 episodes. This is often the trouble of kdrama writers - they hv only 1 mode - n that's romance to fill the hour and get their paycheck which is pretty cheap writing trick and most writer utilise almost all their resources in 1st 2 weeks and that's a drama looks above avg. in 1st half and start to fall terribly in 2nd half. relationships moving isn't a -ve but when that becomes the sole purpose n the only content u hv is what causes everything go down. Their is no balance and it's almost always the intent.
It has many +ve factors and for that writer is doing good but writer also is scoring many -ve and overall content is coming out as with potential - wastage at higher level.
The only thing this show has is the story - and that's what keeps you going. Writing is terrible and direction even tops it. Music being avg. and acting whatever that level it is falls apart in certain instances. relationship dynamics are interesting but show hasn't brought much nuance on the table at all. Hero this time around in soap opera mode and king+2nd prince being lousy. This actually brings out good out of 2nd prince but overly done makes him just a tool for hero to hv more shinny moments. transition of events is so out of tune that they loose their meaning altogether. characters behave like they hv to make some dialogues and just go alone with the flow and that's why lot of stuff is least appealing and upto the mark of a filler. Emotional scenarios r the worst done and director did such a shit job. This time it became king n hero being in easy mode foolishly playing around for fun n giggles at the expense of almost everything. Pretty low quality job for highly artificially inflated content. Yep, it made money - that's what how u promote content. quality surely isn't.
