This episode has more energy than the original show itself. Plot is cliche - but our heroine is looking far more normal than compared to the hero of the show.
Watched 1st episode. For half an episode it looks like a tourism ad and then we have fantasy element. Then there is who-is-behind-it going on. Writer and director both didn't do good job. Writer has an idea but in between which point needs more attention part and timing got messed up.Director acted like he's got these new gadgets for the 1st time so use them any way for the the fun. Writer just jumped from here and there and tried too hard to force fantasy - The ping-pong of action-fantasy actually did more damage to the whole intro episode.
Weak Start but it can go better from here onwards. Usually Kdramas see fall from 3rd week onwards so there is still enough time left for the show.
As said by me in 1st week itself - 12 episodes is a big boost and even then the drama looks a bit slow and thing at time for the story. Its good to see that drama is not attracting the usual delusional kdrama crowd who can't fathom any objective view. The drama has problems and as audience we point it out. Its as simple as that. As for the story - I think writer is no way able to bring any new idea to it. Those who have seen this kind of cinema or have experience of this type of dramas can easily deduce that writer is just copy-pasting same ideas that we have seen before. As for main characters - its writer's world. More often than not for ratings(business) writers are forced to change things just to appease the audience and its better to have a little spin-off than completely pander to the needs of certain set of audience, just because they thought someone is important or not. Those forced happy outcomes - sunny rainbows have spoiled huge bunch into behaving in the way they never should.
I have watched this cliche drama and all its episodes. Chinese teens dramas and even adult romance dramas always are the same. I just don't understand how come these novels even sell when all of them have just 1 copy-paste story repeated who knows how many times. And as usual many scenes have been cut which make story flow even more abrupt. You can always check youtube and see someone uploaded those extra scenes that only air on mainland broadcasters or are released on DVD.
It was one more below average Chinese romance drama that lacked not only logic but substance too. And to appease the audience these dramas more often than not, change the story and characters which also happened with this drama.
The drama dragged and was repetitive for so long. This drama did have the potential but like happens with most of Asian media the opportunity was completely missed as money was more of concern of the team than the quality of the product.
I think music did better job than writing+direction. Overall, it is a product made for teens going throw motions.
Heh. So the drama has run out of all memes now. The thing that that was who-gets-into-whose-pants became real with She wants the D. catfights turned into B-fights. To think so many buzzwords were thrown around to defend this media - hehe - That's what delusions do to you.
foreign audience gets drama from web services. Where as broadcasters aka channels have to additional scenes added. Most of the times,to follow the govt policy, some scenes are added or cut from local as well as global broadcast.
Its not complete episodes on Youku - You can clearly see 3-5minute of scenes have been cut. Well, most Chinese dramas cut atleast a minute os scenes from global broadcast.
Heh the relatable meme buzzword. As i said 1st week itself such 1 dimensional, artificial characters and fake story not makes up for a good content. Animation part feels more like taken from gossip question sections of newspapers. Its fiction and it has the opportunity to fantasise as much but the source and its outcome is no more than get-into-your-pants media. The objective is designed from that 1st scene itself and then stereotypes are piled more and more. Rather this show reminds me of magazines aiming at young girls and have dozen different sections on such nonsense. I would say even typical Korean incestuous 18+ media puts more effort into their product than here anyone ever did. And for the last I know i have my own crazy fandom - one i didn't need or ever wanted and certainly not those unhinged stalkers - but alas i do attract such delusional beings too often.

He has to do everything or better to say writer is making him to central a point of the story. He's giving promise-coupons to everyone. Everyone wants something from him like he recently won lottery. Villain team is roaming streets openly. Too many family members or loved ones are into the scheme of things. In kdramas if their is some action then there will be a young kid with super hacking skills too. He's dropping spy gadgets at every turn and at time show no experience with surveillance technology.
Writer has dropped the ball and we are now into full action mode where Hero beats others and gets beaten - everyone is involved - everyone has crucial things to hide - everyone a suspect and hero goig all out to weed out the suspects one per week scenario.
Many things of the show could be argued and made points of but really in real life these things won't fly far. Overall, drama is still quite interesting and entertaining and audience is made to think who done what and that is now the main appeal of the show.
Those 1 liners are too good. Ratings have increased and the reason is it allows common man to vent their frustrations out through this fiction along with soothing their long perceived views. The caricature of characters are absorbing the force of logic and so the audience gets a breather. Story is told so many times before and yet remains popular to this day shows what large part of audience feels. And tv broadcasters are milking this. Overall, i'm enjoying this show.
