On To Dear Myself Sep 16, 2020
Watched 13 episodes and i say atleast there will be 1 Chinese drama that will be in my top 10 list of 2020. The problem still is writing, though. Writer doesn't know how to balance the situation, event and characters. For a confident, independent Hero - he lost energy quite easily. Maybe the 1st episode fail proposal itself indicates him losing confidence. Only that excuse can prevent the writer from mismanagement of hero. Heroine's ups and downs are marred with same inconsistent writing. on the other hands the married couple as well as not-couple couple have pretty consistent storyline trajectory.
Acting from main hero-heroine is good, direction is ok, writing needs more polished approach.
Writer's idea about hero is right but execution demands much more attention. heroine's problem's at times are forcefully introduced and then audience get see rinse-and-repeat for several episodes. Still, i consider this drama much more relevant than any other kdrama i watched this year. This one does have a heart.

Are you going to drop the drama? I see you are already on episode 6. Pretty fast for something you don't enjoy…
Why someone has to be so curious about what someone other watch or not and what someone like or not. These passive-aggressive identities can do better talking about the show. As for someone's info - I consider Entertainment lowest of criteria to determine the quality.

Each and every episode and the way story flows and characters act and react, reminds you off those old romance shows. This is just old wine in new bottle. 6 episodes of soap-opera where classical music is being exploited for the miserly gains of writer. As said last week music is he prop here. Not only much of it is fake, its also too forcefully imposed throughout. And Hero-Heroine are your caricature of character with not an ounce of life. Haha-hehe might attract attention of many but it does have no impact on those who want to see material of substance. This is just another copy-paste job with no efforts from anyone except director.

My first question to you is Are you korean? Or have studied Korean modern civilization/civics?Secondly I have…
As per some enlightened beings - civil rights not exist in democracies.
I have every right to comment here and i'll continue to do so. Atleast i'm responsible enough to talk about a show than someone else going offtopic. writer through hero slyly made fun of enlightened beings and their so-called facts and now they are here sulking.
If someone is delusional enough to consider common sense as intelligence then nothing can be done about such delusional identities.

As expected episode 10 the even episode tried best to salvage whatever reputation show is left with. When even Hero starts to point that there are just many convenient coincidences piling up, you know writer is caught. What i said in yesterday is what came from Hero's car monologue today. In a democracy citizens have rights and those rights are preserved with sufficient laws and acts. Few so-called enlightened beings can't get this basic facet and term their gibberish as facts. Even in this episode writer willy-nilly used the force to make a point.
Every institution isn't at your beck and call. Their exist proper procedures and only going through those official channels you can get things done. But here once more police force shown more like President's private army that can get things done in minutes.

Someone was cooking instinct, they better google to see how much its easier to deceive a mind. That's what She-Mok said - You have already made up in mind that this n that thing has happened and that n that is involved - result - you won't get the answer. That's why that department needed to be involved in the 1st instance and funny enough that dept. still didn't run Writing matchup. Also digital and physical depts are different toold and different functions. that shows once more how much writer think, auidence is ignorant and fool.
Those who are happy being called fools can enjoy the idiocy but those who want to point out nonsense will also keep on doing that.

On Little Nights, Little Love Sep 13, 2020
Thank you @neet21_ for translation.

Beautiful Movie. Must watch. Nothing shinny or glamorous.
It questions the idea of what and how is the right partner.

Story joined together beautifully. The husband guy annoys you but atleast he took responsibility of his actions, but he was irresponsible in the 1st place and that's why he had to take that responsibility. Overall, That guy does love his wife

Tabe has nothing much to do in the movie. You are getting fooled that Tabe has good screentime and presence here. Miura is all the way and Tabe at best is a side character.

This is one warm, simple, soothing movie that you can heartily enjoy in the company of others.

Yeah Episode 08 was cancelled and moved forward next week. And they are so tacky to keep up with same preview but new video every 2nd day.

This is what you expect from a romance kdrama. Soap-opera. Instruments are the prop here. the real agenda is to cook same old cliches, tropes and already stale food. Same old story and same old caricature of characters. Writer is into copy-paste job. Same template applied again and again. And writer is vile enough to know where his customerbase is. he/she's just pandering to the needs. more like whole show is fanservice without much substance. Th
Acting is as usual substandard. That's why i least talk about acting because showing white teeths, painted faces isn't acting.
I'm being quite generous to give it a 4.

No one is matching handwriting with their own eyes for the long run. It was a fresh piece of evidence hence instinctive…
Facts. lol. You should join their teams as well as watch the show from start, might help you see why 2 institutions are colliding with each other. heh neck and call.

That's what i expect from someone who likes to shout out without any substance. Better check out the description of the show and pay a bit of attention on theme this time around than writing nonsense the way writer has done so.

On Stranger Season 2 Sep 12, 2020
What was the strong point once has now become a weakness. Another more rheotric and less logical episode.
e.g - Its 2020 and these people are matching handwriting with their own bare eyes. Sigh.
The kdramas have life so easy. Oh this is that!!? Hey, get that data from that place. Like every other institution is at the beck and call. Audience is naive but you go ahead openly fooling audience shows your audacity and no trust in audiences intelligence. Its all too common in kdrama land but there also exist part of audience that not eat whatever trash is served as food. Another underwhelming Odd episode, let's see how much even episode gonna salvage the reputation of soap opera in suit.

On Ano ko no Yume wo Mitan Desu Sep 12, 2020
What took Okayama several shows, this guy did it in 1. Hyped idols show so can expect director will concentrate more on that aspect than story, if their gonna be any.
Story is Idols are playing models so that's why idols aka so called actresses have same name as characters. There are more than 16 stories so can we expect 16 different idols with 16 short stories.

I don't have much good opinion about Chinese dramas but this one surely has 1st 4 good episodes. The only thing to nitpick is garystu and mary sue hero-heroine.
The married couple looks far more realistic.
Someone said the romantic couple are so good - naah, they are keeping important things from each other, and that will lead to them falling apart as description of the show says. Their relationship looks cool and is at superficial level.
This show's competitor is Love Yourself.

It is a bit ironic, based on your writing style you would think you would enjoy this type of writing. You write…
and you have nothing better to do than being a troll here.

On Stranger Season 2 Sep 6, 2020
For writer connecting everything with each other looks good but all it does provide superficially presented stale food. There are times where dialogues should be such that open path to number of interpretations - This week such instance was Yeon-Jae talking to her butler, yeah the multipurpose butler. But withing seconds the whole jumbled ramen was straightened and it lost the appeal of confusion and writer is forced to add that confusion via other forceful actions and events. Writer thinks confusion is action and elevate the story but the ore writer tries hard to create this air of cloud the more clear it becomes how simplistic the whole plot is. This was the 4th week and now its confirmed this is the best writer can offer this time around. Fun it can be and is in many parts but lackluster in many others.

Overall, The show still is fighting to make an impression.

On Knock on the Happiness Door Sep 5, 2020
Happiness has come but you also have see that why it is so difficult to walk right in this human world. This is a tv drama and that's why Hero gets his happiness but in real life things most of the time not turn right or +ve for most of people.
Well, I don't think its a romance drama at all. Here heroine's presence has much more value than doing idiotic romance with hero - the way happens in most Chinese+Korean dramas.
So for that matter you can praise the writer but at the same time writer forcefully brings problems into hero's life and then going with moodswings solve those problems.

Translations are bad and as usual you can skip lot of scenes, chat, talk of various characters and still won't miss much. Overall its one more average tv drama.
It gonna test you patience, it frustrate you but at the same time you want to see next episode to know whether Hero ever rises or not. This is the only way for the writer to keep the audience. Cheap tactic from writer.
