Agreed!! All the fight scenes were a work of art. Liu Shishi’s dance background really comes into play here. Even with the ending it is still the best drama of the year for me.

This is exactly what I was thinking. Even though the squad in AJTL are pretty involved with the lead’s romance, I’ve never once thought of them as rude, annoying or excessive. Each of the supporting characters have their own story and could easily be the main character of their own drama.
For LMLMV, all the supporting characters are there for one purpose only - To talk about the lead’s dating lives and make cringy jokes about their romance.
