I often can’t deal with modern cdrama outfits because they look so tacky but I loved every single outfit that ZLS wore so far. It’s all so age appropriate and looked amazing on her.

When she was played by a child actress at 14, they only saw each other TWICE lol. Day 1 when they met for maybe a hour at most and Day 2 when he had a meeting with the teacher (a few hours at most). Then time jump to when she’s 17 and him, 22. He still didn’t have improper feelings for her at that age. Also, 17 is not so much a child. I thought it was tastefully done.

There are Zhao Lusi dramas which I have no interest in because of the story (ie: Hu Tong, Gen Z) so it always seem like I’m waiting for her to come out with a new project that speaks to me. I love her as an actress - she’s adorable! Hidden Love is right up my alley.

I know what you mean! I’m from the US and while we are more mature here in high school, she’s acting a smidge too young. However, I when I visit HK I do see that they are generally more innocent there so I don’t know lol. I LOVE ZLS though and she can do no wrong.

I’m enjoying this so much. Love how cute it is and love that they used the same young actress to play young ZLS!
