I just watched the revent live stream promo of Immortal Samsara of Yangzi and Chengyi in Youtube.

Many cnetz complained that the 2 leads were not satisfactory, poor coordination and boring. I think the organizer should shoulder most responsibility for the failure and bad timing because it appears Chengyi was in his ancient costume looking restless (not answering questions from the coordinator) and Yangzi had to go offline half way getting ready for Hi 6 (Hello Saturday) variety program.

I was quite down 😔 but after watching 6 new episodes of LLTG, I am feeling better. 😄

Yeah she still looks badass with cool lines. Her character has more depth and importance to the main plot after the revelation she is also part of the Penta Group.

Many cnetz commented and liked Zhou Shen's interactions with Bai Lu and Kun for comedic relief in Keep Running but I think he and Angelababy were just as good and he also likes partnering with AB for games.

Viann Zhang used to be pretty but now her face looks a bit different.

Or maybe I am not used to seeing her in non-ancient costume drama.

Wu Lei was playing a character of his real age and that's very rare nowadays in Cdramas. Ling Buyi was 21 and Wu Lei too when they were still shooting the drama last year.

Zhao Lusi playing FL character aged 15 is still acceptable although she is 23 this year.

Whoaaaa .....Consort Yue is probably the Emperor's secret weapon to fend off 🗡🗡🗡 relatives 👻👻👻 who are ungrateful, overbearing and leeching 🦠🦠🦠 on them for years.

I dont mind if the producer decides to have Season 2 but with different interesting characters to matchmake.

What i like about this 8 episodes kdrama is that its easy to watch and binged over 1 day. The last 3 episodes feel a bit cramped and compressed with many editing out leaving audience to imagine what happened behind the scenes in relation how the tides have turned in favour of FL.

I am drawn to this kdrama first due to Kim Hee Sun. But I feel that ML and FL should atleast hold hands and hugged on screem although i assumed KHS would likely have a no kissing clause in her contract.

Not at all. It doesn't feel right to inject romance in this intense drama.
