I saw the same type of nasty comments from people who rated 1 star for this drama in Douban. I hope he learned his lessons and not respond to any trolls.

My Mandarin is quite basic too but manage to catch the main plots of the story. Ep. 13 and last ep. 24 are my faves. 💟💟💟

After ep.13, the story took a different turn and yes some draggy parts in between that i watched them while cooking/doing laundry so better utilize my time but also following the story.

It does have a HAPPY ENDING and in the last episode their reunion was funny and sweet like a romcom. The sweet flashbacks were also good.

Not sure you are in which episode, as the story advances we will know FL character should be wearing beautiful costume. Although the director should have dressed her according to the development of the story.

Yes, it somewhat exceeded my expectation too esp. acting wise bcos ML and FL provided not just good visuals but also good chemistry. I just started yesterday and finished 24 episodes (most unsubbed) this morning. 🤩🤩🤩

This kind of boo boo only happens in B grade drama.

Not just the lips, also the prominent jaw line and too straight nose.

As much as I like the FL character but her dressing is not realistic for a pheasant fishing village girl. She dresses like a rich merchant's daughter. Not her fault but the production crew should be responsible. She is so pretty and cute, therefore dressing her up in normal clothes will not make her ugly.

The first 10 episodes were predictable due to the spoliers in the trailer then it gets more and more interesting and addictive! ! 😀😁🤐

Even the screen time of non ML and FL were also important to learn about the story. So there's very little unnecessary scenes when you watch 2nd half.
