I think only Li Qin can pull it off as the FL who can cry convincing without being over dramatic.

In the advance stage of the story, she will be suffering in a lot of pain ......at the same time very very pathetic, vulnerable and still be beautiful and attractive to Shawn Dou's character.

I hope the producer dont follow 100% of the novel as it some what demonize the ML's intention of going close to the FL when she became very very vulnerable and depressed.

This newly released The Day of Becoming You is my fave among Liang Jie's back to back 3x dramas this year.

IMHO, this drama is better than Eternal Love 3 with Xing Zhaolin and Time Flies And You Are Here with Joseph Zheng.

Its a short novel that you can finish in 2 -3 days, so total episodes up to 27 makes sense. The link to the English translated novel is in the above Recent Discussion section.

Plus this drama involves aerospace engineering and video gaming so the production budget must be very high already, not to forget the high traffic leading actors - Yang Yang and Dilireba ultra high salaries too. So better to make quality and short dramas than long winding draggy dramas with too much screen time given to unimportant non plot supporting 3rd or 4th supporting actors.

I am waiting for FL and SML to break up because in the latest ep.38 their storyline has reached its peak.

1) Yeh Huei's inheritance and family business empire depends on both his parents preference who will be their daughter in law. So far he resisted well (8 episodes fr. 31 to 38) but I think not for long because 4 more episodes before ending.
2) Wen Jing will not forgive Yeh Huei for selfishly jeopardising her business plan and the App's launching mishaps and complains. I have a hunch ML /Professor and FL will eventually be together in the end if not the director and screenwriter dont deserve even average rating of 5 or 6. Or if suddenly they kill off one of the leads which makes it even more unrealistically dramatic and gets lower than 5 rating.

The most recognizable lead actors here is Kang Han Na, but she always stands out even as SFL in most dramas including Start Up. My first time watching ML, FL and SML and their acting are fine and fitting in their roles.

I agree with some of the earlier comments that the story gets better after 2nd or 3rd episode onwards. Just keep watching then you are glued and never look back. Am eagerly waiting for the next episode!

Oh ya! You are right!

I spotted 2 similarities between Eternal Love 3 and The Romance of Tiger and Rose.

(i) Ruler was a female emperor of a fictional small kingdom.
(ii) The eldest princess was acted by the same actress, Zhou Zi Xin.

Actually Xing Zhao Lin's original voice is not too bad and his pronunciation is clear from You Are My Destiny 2020. Maybe the 1st season his voice was dubbed so all subsequent seasons the producer/director just do the same for uniformity sake!

In all Liang Jie's dramas, she was never dubbed as her comedic performance must match with her original voice. Hahaha
