I really want this season to end now. It's too much, too complicated, too messy. We have 6 eps left, but we have nothing. Nothing. We can't foresee the end.

Nayeon made mistake. She wanted to care for everyone. She doesn't have to. Whether it's bcs she was drunk, or bcs it's her personality, in eastern culture, it will create misunderstanding. It's common for western people to hug or kiss friends. I do skinships to my male friends without any romantic feelings. Nayeon might did it unconsciously, but she should behave. Meanwhile, I can't stand seeing Heedoo and Nayeon. They are not meant to be. They will never work out. Even if they reconcile, there will be another fight, another break up. If you want to be happy, find someone who treats you with kindness and respect. I guess Nayeon only cares about now and not the future after leaving the house. Gyumin is perfect for her and they will have a bright future, but apparently she prefers to repeat history. Also, I actually don't like Nayeon when she's with Heedoo. When she's with Heedoo, it's tension, fire and arrogance. When she's with Gyumin she looks lovely, bright and relaxed.

And WHY did Heedoo choose Nayeon???? If he likes Jiyeon, choose her! It's like giving both of them false hope! He wants to have a good talk with Nayeon? bah! He just can't leave her! Gyumin didn't choose Hae-eun bcs he doesn't want to give her false hope, bcs once he chooses her or sends her text, she will misunderstand it.

My theory:
-In 1936, Taotao and A Ze are siblings. After she dies, he plans to take revenge on Qinyu.
-so he swaps the gun used by Jin Zi (Ayin's past self) to kill Qinyu.
-Jin Zi is an extra in Qinyu's movie and is assigned to shoot Qinyu.
-When she realizes she is holding a real gun, she is shocked and cries.
-After traveling back to 1936, Qinyu might go back to his body who is in comma (before they announced his death as written in history) OR he manages to dodge the bullet and catch Yang Darong (A Ze).
-Qinyu dies peacefully and reincarnated as Chi Yu. So Chi Yu appears in front of Ayin with Qinyu's memories. Or Qinyu takes over Chi Yu's body and continues to live as Chi Yu.

Ayin easily trusts people. Especially bcs she is friends with A Ze and Taotao. She would never expected her childhood friend is able to do that. Of course even though they feel something wrong with Longda's tone on the phone, they would never expected he works together with A Ze to kill Qinyu. Like, how would they expect that? Longda and A Ze met, talked and became bestie without them knowing. But Ayin is smart to quickly check Qinyu's location and called Abao for help. I hope she arrives fast and snap those lunatics.

A Ze is a disgraceful, lowest dirt of all!!! He is willing to hurt Ayin who has done a lot for him and Taotao!

There are two couples which have third wheels. For the main couple, FL made it clear from the first time she only likes ML. She doesn't give the SML a chance and rejected him before he confessed. For the second couple, the guy rejected the girl from long time ago before he meets the older woman he falls in love with (who is also the FL's boss).

Both couples have third wheels. This is a sweet on series from iqiyi, so expect 80% romance 20% mystery.

So a person who is hard working, values family and loyal is childish for you? She is saving money from her hard work to get her grandma to live with her is childish. She gives money to her friend and wasn't mad at Qinyu who stole her money is childish. She tells Qinyu to be kind to Chi Yu's parents and tells Abao to call their mom and grandma is childish. She's not swayed by free money and glam given to her means she's childish. I guess gen MZ see things differently. 🤔

With 10 eps left, I'm writing my first comment. I love love love the chemistry! The romance is cringy? This is not American romance. Eastern people love this kind of romance, so dreamy, cliche and manga-like. Don't forget this is a SWEET ON. Romance, romance, romance drama with mystery and time travel spice, not the other way around.

I also love Ayin. She's not the dumb, annoying stalker kind of FL. She's cute, simple, smart, hard working, loyal, polite, values family, and she isn't blinded by glam and bling bling. She needs money, but she won't take it for free. When Qinyu stole her money, she wasn't mad or call the police. That money was her saving to get her grandma to live with her. She didn't even use it to pay her rent. But she forgave him! Even willing to give the money if he asks for it. She befriended Taotao and A Ze despite their situations and gives money to A Ze, it shows how warm she is.

Ayin isn't important? Put the story aside, Ayin is important for Qinyu's growth as a human. She provided Qinyu food and shelter, taught him about the modern era, helped him secretly. She is smart enough to make deductions and helped Qinyu in things he didn't realize before. If it wasn't bcs of Ayin, he would go the long way bcs no one would believe him. Now he becomes the star of his own movie, meets Chi Yu's parents and feels parents love. She tells Abao to call their mom and grandma, tells Qinyu to be kind to Chi Yu's parents. All bcs she values family and that's what a child should do. She changed Qinyu to be a caring person and be more open. She is also the person who makes Qinyu falls in love for the first time in his life.

Even though you love the ML and the mystery, you shouldn't disregard FL. The FL gives more than just "involvement in the story". If it wasn't bcs of her, Qinyu would still be an ignorant, cold person, lost in modern time, never love nor be loved.

Sadly Taei is the opposite of her ideal type. She likes a healthy man, who likes to workout so she can have a gym date.

When she was drunk it was their first break up, in 2018. Their last break up was when they were about to go for christmas vacation in 2021. Heedoo isn't honest with his feelings. He's sensitive over things and Nayeon didn't like it when he kept nagging at her. That's why they kept arguing over smallest things, such as choosing coffee menu. Bohyun and Homin broke up also bcs of coffee menu and she was late for a date.

Nayeon and Wonbin are like siblings. They got close since day 2. Love how Nayeon is comfortable with him to be able to sleep while Wonbin sits to accompany her. This is the N-th time they do this. For me this shows how romantic Wonbin is as a man/boyfriend. He doesn't leave her side unless something happens.

A new girl joined the house! Park Naeon. A student, enrolls in law school. 25 y.o (korean age). She chose Taei for her date 👏👏👏 she looks so much like Minyoung 😅
OMG I didn't expect there would be another couple join!!! 😱😱😱 I feel bad for the last guy who will join bcs he only gets a few days 😭 But it's so nice to see the 6 of them went out. I lol-ed so hard when they took photos at photo booth 🤣

Meanwhile I understand why Nayeon is upset at Heedoo. He is wearing a couple bracelet. Like she said, she also bought a couple ring with Gyumin, but she doesn't wear it bcs it's rude to wear it in front of Heedoo. She was shocked that he is doing the opposite 🙄 Just like when Minyoung wore the ring, but she took it off immediately bcs she didn't want to hurt Joohwi. Even Gyumin doesn't wear the ring even though he doesn't have feelings for Hae-eun. Wearing a couple item means big. It's not just an "accessory". It means you're serious about that person.

OMG. Seeing Nayeon and Heedoo. That's the only words came out. Seeing them, they were deeply in love. It's obvious they still have feelings for each other, BUT they knew best they are not meant to be. They just can't be. That's why it hurts them a lot. They remind me of Candy Candy. Candy and Terry are deeply in love. They are each other's true love. However they knew they can't be together so they decided to separate 😭

I agree with Simon D. If only Heedoo was honest to Nayeon, they would've been the perfect couple. Nayeon said when he felt sad or down, he didn't share it with Nayeon so she felt lonely. Now it happens again. He cried alone. I don't know why he has to act tough in front of her. When you're in a relationship, it will make you sad and feel useless if your partner doesn't share with you.

Lol I wrote a lot about it way below. Taei looked so ready to leave. The more they talked the more he lost interest. Even the host complained about it too. Jiyeon is mature for her age, but she's immature when it comes to love. She doesn't know what should be said and what not. She just says what she wants to say.

Think about this: Nayeon and Heedoo dated for 4 years, broke up 5 months ago in an ugly state. Now they live in the same house. They haven't had a proper talk. Yet they still care for each other. They're not used to see their ex date someone else. Heedoo was jealous of Taei and Gyumin. Why Nayeon can't?
Jiyeon invited Heedoo for a date, but she still likes Taei. She wants Taei to feel the same way with her, but he doesn't. She said "I'm the only one who loves you" or "My life is messed up bcs I like you" or "I can date a better man, but I keep coming back to you". Basically she's trying to confess her feelings to Taei though she knew Heedoo is into her. Jiyeon can do that, but Nayeon can't? Why???

Is it so wrong to be popular? In season 1, Minyoung was liked by 3 men, Joohwi was liked by 3 girls. Does that make them pick me girl/boy? In heart signal, 1 girl was liked by 4 guys. Does that make her pick me girl? 1 guy was liked 3 girls, does that make him pick me boy? Ridiculous. They didn't ask for it. It happens bcs it is a small group living in a small space which means the choice is limited.

Why people immediately judged that Nayeon only dates someone from her own kind???? She dated Heedoo for 4 years since college! She doesn't have much dating experiences. What Jiyeon said was true, Taei and Nayeon came from different environments so initially they wouldn't have met if it weren't for this show. Yet it's rude to judged Nayeon like that.

I'm Nayeon-Gyumin shipper, but I don't throw hate if they don't become a couple in the end. I even thought Gyumin would pursue Jisoo as he was originally attracted to her. These people still don't know what to do. Taei, Wonbin, Jisoo are in blank state, Nayeon and Jiyeon are confused, only Gyumin and Hae-eun who have chosen their paths.
